Apartments on Ciovo
The highest standards for your vacation
Opened in August 2021, a modern villa awaits you, featuring 2 separate apartments, a garden, and plenty of comfort. Our new heated pool is available from April through November.
Unspoiled and natural landscape
Only 40 percent of the island of Ciovo is developed, yet it remains a popular vacation destination. It’s easily accessible via a new, large bridge or the old, small bridge in the beautiful old town of Trogir. The crystal-clear waters of Dalmatia invite you to snorkel or dive; rent a boat or join a tour—there’s plenty to discover. Surrounded by islands, blue lagoons, and caves, there’s something for everyone.

The smaller Apartment 1 (45 m² + terrace) on the 1st floor is fully equipped and ready for your visit.
In the attic, there is another large Apartment 2, also bookable here on FeWo (90 m² + balcony and terrace) for up to 5–6 people.
You can also book the entire property as a vacation home right here on FeWo, in which case you’ll have both apartments and the garden with pool all to yourselves.
After booking, you’ll receive access via a key code or app (or with a physical key upon request).
There’s plenty to explore in the surrounding area,
including nearby Trogir, which features a beautiful old town and a wonderful waterfront marina promenade.
Virtual Tour of Trogir: https://trogir360.com/
Ca. 30 minutes to Split, famous for its old town.
Of course, you can also go swimming in the sea right below your villa; a beautiful pebble beach (suitable for children) is located down the quiet residential street, about 150 meters away. There’s also a café-bar there, serving ice cream, etc.
We also recommend the Krka Waterfalls
or the Plitvice Lakes.
A few cats occasionally wander around the house, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the rental.
Location:
The villa is located on the north side of the island.
In the morning, you can enjoy the sunrise to the right, and in the evening, the sunset to the left over Trogir.
On the other side, across the sea, lies Split Airport, which is 9 km away and can be reached by car or taxi in about 20 minutes. Aircraft noise is barely audible since the house is not located in the approach or departure flight path.
However, when the wind is unfavorable, you can hear planes taking off.
Note: There is also a helicopter landing pad directly across from the airport. From time to time, training exercises, firefighting operations for forest fires, or relief flights take place here. These helicopters sometimes fly over our house.
Our new pool is
4x6m and 1.5m deep, featuring saltwater electrolysis disinfection—chemical-free, gentle on the skin, and crystal-clear—inviting you to relax.
Sunbathing areas for 8 people and seating with a table and chairs
Shaded areas, warm solar shower—enjoy the view and relax
A children’s mountain buggy, stroller, travel crib, high chair, car seat, and infant car seat (0 to 35 kg) are available.
Both apartments are equipped with air conditioning, fans, Wi-Fi, a grill, and full furnishings.
Towels and bed linens are, of course, provided for every guest.
(Please bring your own beach or bath towels.)
You can reach the house via a steep road (180 m) leading straight up the hill; it is wide enough for two cars.
A garage with an electric door and remote control is available for your car.
The private washing machine for guests of the smaller apartment is located in the left garage.
In the large apartment, a private washing machine is available in the bathroom.
We strive to make your vacation destination as pleasant as possible. To this end, we’ve incorporated several renovations and design elements into the renovation that set a new standard for vacation homes in Croatia.
Photovoltaic Solar
Electricity for personal use
A large PV solar power system provides us with enough electricity for the house, pool, battery storage, and emergency power; it can cover 80% of our annual needs. We must purchase the remainder from the utility provider.
Solar thermal system
Solar water heating system
Our hot water is generated 100% by the sun via a vacuum-tube solar system.
Summer and winter
Insulation and modern air conditioning systems
The house is fully insulated and the roof has been re-insulated; the latest-generation air conditioning systems are energy-efficient and quiet.
Water
Garden irrigation
We have a 20,000-liter cistern behind the house for garden water; rainwater from the winter is collected and used to automatically irrigate the garden in the summer.
