Nowhere in the listing was it disclosed that a cat lives in or has access to the unit. From the first day of our stay, I began sneezing, coughing, and feeling ill without knowing the cause. On checkout day, I asked my child to look under the beds and furniture for any belongings we might have dropped. In doing so, she discovered a cat bed, cat toys, and other cat-related items under the bed I had been sleeping in, as well as around the unit. When the cleaner arrived, she confirmed that she was aware of the cat items in the unit. The manager at 5 Star Property Management stated that this was a new client property and that she was unaware of the cat items, despite having walked the unit herself.I have photos and videos documenting these items throughout the unit.Because I unknowingly slept in a bed with cat allergens present, my condition worsened significantly. From Saturday to Monday, I was too ill to leave the unit except to visit Walgreens for medication. Now that I have returned home to South Carolina, my doctor has diagnosed me with a double respiratory infection, and I have incurred medical bills as a result. The presence of a cat was never disclosed, and the unit was not properl
