The apartment features one bedroom and a modern bathroom. The bedroom offers a cozy retreat, while the living area is equipped with a kitchenette, a dining table, and inviting armchairs. The fireplace is decorative only. The fully equipped kitchenette features an induction stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle, so you can prepare your meals however you like. A washer and dryer are available in the basement for all guests for a fee. In the basement, there is a cozy lounge with seating for breakfast or for relaxing game nights. Free for you to enjoy in our garden: a Kneipp pool and plunge pool, a barefoot path, and a clothing-required sauna for four people with an outdoor shower (sauna open year-round; outdoor shower available only in summer). Bicycles can be parked behind the house.

The Haus BergGesundZeit, lovingly designed in Alpine style, is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Oberschönau district. Its location at the foot of the Watzmann is perfect for your active vacation in our beautiful region. Start your hikes or mountain bike tours right nearby. In winter, when snow conditions permit, several cross-country ski trails run through the town of Schönau.

A washing machine and dryer are available to all guests in the basement for a fee. The basement features a cozy lounge with seating for breakfast or for relaxing game nights. Feel free to help yourself to books from our bookshelf (available for loan).

Free parking is available right next to the house. You can park your bike safely and conveniently at the back of the house. Here you’ll find sturdy, securely anchored bike racks for e-bikes, mountain bikes, and more. You can charge your e-bike’s battery right at the bike parking area; where six outlets are available for your use.

The bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. From the train station to Haus BergGesundZeit, it’s about 5 kilometers (just go straight and then 150 meters of relentless uphill). The nearest bakery is a 5-minute drive away (Oberschönauer Str. 14, Bäcker Brüder). You’ll find restaurants and shops either in the Schönau “Unterstein” center or in the town of Berchtesgaden. The “Bodner” inn, which serves hearty Bavarian cuisine, is a 5-minute drive away.
