Grande maison familiale rénovée avec piscine - Gîte de Jouandéou

As passionate farmers, we are delighted to welcome you to Gîte Jouandéou, in the heart of our family farm. For generations, our family has been farming the land here, raising ducks, and processing the products sold in our farm shop on-site.

Completely renovated, the house was designed to allow families and groups of friends to gather in comfort. Its restored antique furniture, original staircase, and warm colors have helped it retain the character of a true family home.
The large kitchen opens onto a double living room and a dining room where ten people can gather around beautiful tables. The house features five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and plenty of space so that everyone can enjoy their stay at their own pace.

On the ground floor, a bedroom with a 160-cm bed has its own bathroom. This bedroom, along with the main rooms on this level, is equipped and certified to accommodate a person with limited mobility.
Upstairs, four bedrooms complete the house: two bedrooms with 140-cm beds, one bedroom with a 180-cm bed, and one bedroom with two 90-cm beds. A full bathroom and a half-bath are also available.

The covered patio naturally extends the living spaces and invites you to enjoy the plancha and al fresco dining. On sunny days, the pool—open from June through September—lets you cool off and enjoy the garden, while the various play areas keep young and old alike entertained throughout your stay.

Upon your arrival, we’ll welcome you with a special treat made from our own farm produce. The shop, located just a few steps from the cottage, offers our preserves, foie gras, confits, and other specialties year-round, as well as fresh seasonal produce.

Depending on the time of year and the farm’s schedule, we’re happy to take the time to share our craft and introduce you to farm life—from growing crops and raising livestock to preparing our products.

The cottage is an ideal base for enjoying the tranquility of the countryside while exploring the Chalosse region, its rolling landscapes, and its way of life. The region is best experienced through its local markets, its cuisine, and its colorful ferias. Dax is about 20 minutes away. The beaches of the Landes, the Pyrenees, and the Basque Country are all accessible in about an hour.
