Welcome to the “Unter der Kastanie” vacation home. I have painstakingly renovated and modernized this semi-detached house—built in 1866—over the past few years and prepared it for you, our guest, according to the latest standards. This property is a vacation home featuring 3 bedrooms, a loft, an open-concept living and dining area on the upper floor, as well as a bathroom, an utility room, and a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The 1,835 m² lot is currently still in the final stages of completion. There is a fence and a gate facing the street; the rest of the property is completely fenced in with a fence height of 80 to 100 cm. A 35 m² covered outdoor terrace is also currently under construction and is scheduled for completion this summer. There is more than enough parking available. Feel free to bring your pet—four-legged friends are always welcome here. Please be sure to bring plenty of your own bed linens and towels. A washer and dryer are provided in the vacation home. What can our guests expect inside? You’ll be greeted by a light-filled hallway from which you can access every part of the house. To your right is the open staircase leading upstairs to the spacious living and dining area, equipped with a panoramic wood-burning stove for cold, romantic days, a loft sleeping area with a separate TV, a spacious dining table for 8 people, a flat-screen smart TV, a projector with a screen, a fan, and—as a highlight—a dartboard and a rotating pool table with air hockey and the option to play poker. Downstairs, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms, each with a double box-spring bed, a dresser, and a mirrored closet, plenty of outlets by the bed, a smart TV in each bedroom, and Wi-Fi throughout the house. The children’s bedroom features a bunk bed, a single bed, a pull-out trundle bed, and a Smart TV. In the utility room, you’ll find a large washing machine, a dryer, a separate sink, and a side door leading outside to the patio. The kitchen impresses with its fully equipped layout, including a modern counter with seating and a view of the garden and terrace. The bathroom stands out with its spacious, walk-in shower at ground level, various lighting effects, and, of course, the whirlpool tub for two people. Furthermore, the entire house features underfloor heating in every room, free, individually controllable Wi-Fi, dimmable LED spotlights in every room that can be turned on and off, as well as motion sensors in the hallway and utility room that activate when you enter the room. Pets are very welcome here, but please keep them off the furniture so we can all continue to enjoy the vacation rental for a long time to come :) Firewood for cold winter days is also provided. Please note the various instructions regarding cleaning the shower, for example, and other information posted in the house. Please bring your own bed linens and plenty of towels. A washer and dryer are available in the vacation home. Update—A new sauna in the garden will also be available starting at 25.07.2024.
