Welcome to our “Familienglück” vacation rental in the beautiful town of Lautenthal!

The apartment is located on the first floor and in the attic of the house. On the first floor, you’ll find: a large bedroom—the master bedroom—(bed 180x200), which is connected to a children’s room. The children’s room features a loft bed suitable for children and teenagers. Bed linens and towels can be provided upon request for an additional fee of €25.

Also on this floor are a newly renovated bathroom with a shower, a state-of-the-art, fully equipped kitchen, a dining room, and a living room where you can relax together.

The attic features three cozy bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom with a shower. Two bedrooms each have a bed measuring 160x200 cm, and the third room has a double bed measuring 180x200 cm (the beds can also be pulled apart to form two single beds measuring 90x200 cm). Clothing can be stored in a dresser.

The entire apartment was newly renovated in March 2023—that means: new bathrooms, new kitchen, new flooring, new electronics, and new plumbing.
There is a foosball table in the garage.
A Switch is available in the closet in the hallway for rainy days. Please put it back after use.
Traveling with kids? Two children or teens can sleep in the Woodland loft bed in the kids’ room. Toys and books are also available. If you’re traveling with small children, a travel crib is available. There are two high chairs for the dining area. In the bathroom, there’s a stool for washing hands on their own.

The quiet, small village of Lautental is located in the Innerstetal valley in the northwestern Upper Harz region (300 m above sea level). From the valley basin, however, you can reach mountains with elevations of 620 m. The surrounding forest trails and a wonderful forest playground are a 5-minute walk away. In the village itself, there’s a grocery store where you can also buy fresh rolls. At the butcher shop, you can buy fresh sausage and meat and then have a BBQ in the garden right away. Be sure to make a reservation at the “Harzer Schnitzelkönig” restaurant. You should definitely take a tour of the mine. Hahnenklee is a 10-minute drive away. There are many restaurants and shops there.

We look forward to seeing you!

GOOD LUCK!
