This beautiful 92-square-meter apartment is located in the heart of Bad Harzburg, yet in a quiet setting right on the Radau River. It is very well-equipped and can accommodate up to 6 people.

The apartment features two bedrooms, a dining area, an open kitchen, a large living room with a fold-out bed, a main bathroom, an additional restroom, and a balcony. The apartment is located on the mezzanine level and is wheelchair-accessible.

You enter the apartment into the spacious dining-living area. Directly connected to the open kitchen, it features an extendable table with plenty of chairs, making it the culinary heart of the apartment—and it’s certainly not off-limits for planning day trips or cozy game nights. The kitchen itself is equipped with a variety of dishes, cooking utensils, and all necessary appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, washing machine). All other rooms are accessible from the dining area.

Bedroom 1:

The spacious bedroom is furnished with a 180x200 cm bed featuring two high-quality mattresses. An open closet system with ample storage space provides guests with plenty of room to neatly organize their luggage. The TV can be used as a Smart TV via the Amazon Fire TV Stick (ARD, ZDF, screen mirroring from Android devices via free apps, and a personal Netflix account are required). A small desk/dressing table provides a space for working remotely.

Bedroom 2:

The smaller but very cozy bedroom features a 160x200 cm bed with two high-quality single mattresses. Here, too, there is an open closet system for storage, and roll-out drawers under the bed provide additional storage space.

Living Room:

The approximately 30-square-meter living room invites guests to enjoy relaxed, cozy evenings after successful excursions in the Harz Mountains. For more than 4 guests, an additional sleeping space is available here in the form of a fold-out bed with a 160x200 cm sleeping surface. Large windows let the evening sun stream in, and from here you can access the balcony overlooking the Radau—Bad Harzburg’s river.

The main bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower and toilet. There is also a separate guest restroom. The apartment includes a parking space, which cannot be reserved. However, in addition to the numbered private parking spaces, there is ample free parking available in the main parking lot and along the access road.

The apartment includes a travel crib and a high chair.
An ironing board, iron, and clothes rack are also provided. The apartment offers free high-speed Wi-Fi and features a small desk for working from home, etc.
Duvets (1.35 x 2.00) and pillows are hypoallergenic.

You can reach the city center in one minute by crossing a small bridge. Bad Harzburg has a beautiful downtown area with many cafés and restaurants, stretching from the train station to the aerial cableway leading up to Bad Harzburg’s local mountain.
The Burgberg is accessible via a aerial cableway. Attractions such as the suspension railway, castle ruins, treetop trail, climbing park, saltwater bath with sauna facilities, golf course, and outdoor pool make Bad Harzburg a popular tourist destination. The train station is about a 10-minute walk away, and there are various shopping options in the immediate vicinity.

Bad Harzburg—the gateway to the Harz Mountains—is easily accessible via the B4 or by train. The local public transportation fare is included in the visitor’s tax for overnight guests (a small additional fee applies for trips to the national park). Bad Harzburg is also an excellent starting point for other Harz highlights: Werningerode 25 min, Torfhaus (for the Brocken hike) 12 min, Goslar 16 min, Ilsenburg 16 min, Braunlage 25 min (all by car)
