The vacation home is situated in a completely quiet location on a dead-end street in the small residential community of Maasholm Bad. You’ll be staying between the Baltic Sea and the Schlei fjord, and can reach the nearby sea and beach directly via an idyllic footpath after about 800 m, and the Schlei fjord after about 250 m. The maritime port town of Kappeln is about 10 km away, and Flensburg and Schleswig are less than a 45-minute drive away. The small, idyllic seafaring and fishing village of Maasholm, just 1 km away, has retained its tranquil character to this day. Here you’ll find small restaurants and cafés where you can linger and enjoy yourself, and from here you can go on deep-sea fishing trips. The harbor, historic moorings for Schlei boats, the station of the sea-rescue cruiser “Nis Randers,” a fish smokehouse, a shipyard, the customs and water police, St. Peter’s Church, small thatched-roof fishermen’s cottages, and other sights invite you to take a stroll through the town.
