Welcome to our home - an updated coastal retreat in Oak Bluffs offering the perfect combination of comfort, location, and outdoor living. Located on a quiet residential street just steps from Lagoon Pond and only minutes from downtown Oak Bluffs, this home is ideally situated to enjoy everything Martha’s Vineyard has to offer.

The home has been thoughtfully updated and includes air conditioning throughout, helping keep the space cool and comfortable during the summer months.

Interior and Layout

The main level features a bright, open living and dining area designed for gathering and relaxing after a day at the beach. The living room includes a 75" television for movie buffs and tv lovers alike! The updated kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and everything needed for cooking and entertaining. A first-floor bedroom and full bathroom provide convenient single-level living.

Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, a desk and a walk-in closet, while the second bedroom features two full beds and a desk, making it a great option for longer stays or remote work. A second full bathroom serves the upstairs.

The lower level offers additional living space, including a comfortable hangout area with a sectional sofa and television. A bonus room provides extra flexibility for sleeping or a quiet workspace. This layout allows groups to spread out while still feeling connected.

Outdoor Living

The outdoor space is a highlight of the home. A private patio with a gazebo and seating area creates a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening meals. The yard provides additional space for relaxing, watching a movie in the tiki bar TV, and outdoor activities. The outdoor space also includes a basketball court and hoop.

An outdoor shower adds a classic Vineyard touch and makes it easy to rinse off after the beach.

Location

The location offers both convenience and a peaceful setting. Lagoon Pond is just at the end of the street, ideal for walks or enjoying the water views.

Downtown Oak Bluffs is just minutes away, where you will find restaurants, shops, entertainment, and ferry access. Joseph Sylvia State Beach and other nearby beaches are a short bike ride or drive, making beach days easy and accessible.

The home also provides convenient access to Vineyard Haven and Edgartown, allowing you to explore the entire island.

We are so thrilled to welcome you to our home. For us, this house is the realization of a decade-long dream, and we are so happy to share it with you. Our history with Oak Bluffs runs deep. We actually met right here in town at Nancy’s over ten years ago, and we’ve considered ourselves “Island people” ever since. The locals call us “Washashores.” From Dave’s family reunions starting back in 2001 to our engagement at the Edgartown Lighthouse, Martha’s Vineyard has been the backdrop for many major chapters of our lives. After years of renting in Oak Bluffs and visiting family on island, we finally planted our own roots. The island is incredibly special to us. It’s a place of tradition, family, and the kind of memories that only happen on “Island time.”

Centrally located, it’s also easy to explore the rest of the island. Whether you’re looking for family activities, great restaurants, live music, or stunning sunsets, Oak Bluffs has something for everyone.
