Our vacation rental is located in the beautiful Sythen-Lehmbraken neighborhood of Haltern am See. In Sythen, you’ll find everything a vacationer could want, from supermarkets and snack bars to an Italian restaurant and an ice cream parlor. During the summer months, our small but lovely outdoor pool is also open. The well-known and always popular Silbersee, along with its restaurants, is within walking distance of the vacation rental. The train station is 2 km from our vacation rental.

Our fully equipped vacation rental is located in a detached multi-family home on the edge of the forest, in close proximity to the L551- Münsterstrasse (traffic noise cannot be ruled out) and the adjacent Silbersee lakes. It has its own garden that belongs exclusively to the apartment, is approximately 80 m² in size, and features 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large box-spring bed measuring 180 x 200 cm, and the second bedroom has a sleeper sofa measuring 160 x 200 cm. As shown in the photos, the apartment features a modern kitchen, a bathroom with a shower/tub combination, and a large living room with a dining area. The fireplace can be used during the winter months by prior arrangement. The garden shown in the photos is available for exclusive use during the summer months and belongs to the vacation rental. This means nothing stands in the way of a lovely summer evening. Up to 2 parking spaces are also available free of charge. A wallbox for charging an electric car is available upon request. Bicycle parking and charging facilities are also provided.

The Münsterland region and the Ruhr area are quickly accessible via the nearby highway on-ramp and the train station in Sythen. Haltern am See is a great place to explore by bike, from a loop around the reservoir to a lovely beer garden and the adjacent climbing park. In town, you’ll find a wide variety of dining options as well as Haltern’s famous Roman Museum. Other unique attractions for all ages include the Kettler Hof amusement park, the Granat with its beautiful zoo, and the Frankenhof, located 15 km away.
