Our vacation rental, “Boddenliebe,” is located in Polchow, a district of Glowe, right on the Großer Jasmunder Bodden on the eastern side of the island of Rügen. A natural swimming area is 500 meters from the apartment, and the old harbor, with its small sandy beach, is 900 meters away. The vacation complex features a communal barbecue area and a lawn for playing badminton, Swedish chess, or other recreational activities during a cozy barbecue evening. The apartment has a working fireplace and an infrared sauna for two people. From the living and dining room, the apartment offers a good view of the Bodden to the west. With a bit of luck, you might even spot cranes flying over on their way to their nighttime roosts. Additionally, the apartment features a kitchenette with a refrigerator and dishwasher. The naturally lit bathroom includes a modern shower with a rain showerhead. The price includes final cleaning, as well as towels and bed linens. If you wish to use the fireplace, a cleaning surcharge applies, which already includes a bundle of firewood upon arrival.
The vacation apartment stands out for its central location on the eastern side of the island of Rügen. From here, various well-known attractions are just a few minutes away by bike and even fewer minutes by car. You can also take a walk along the Bodden, through the local nature reserve, to Glowe Beach (5 km). Cape Arkona, the chalk cliffs of Jasmund National Park, Schaabe Beach, and the famous KdF building in Prora are just a few of the highlights that are about a 15-minute drive away. The well-known seaside resort of Binz is also just a 20-minute drive away and offers a classic beach resort atmosphere, numerous restaurants and bars, and a lively nightlife. The apartment is also ideal for anglers: from here, you can join numerous guided fishing tours in various locations or go fishing directly in the Bodden. Grocery and beverage stores can be found in the neighboring towns of Sagard and Glowe. Here you’ll find everything you need for your daily needs. In Polchow, there are also restaurants just a few meters away on foot. The tranquility and the Bodden invite you to unwind and spend a wonderfully relaxing time here.
