: a detached thatched-roof house (approx. 160 square meters) for 2–3 families (12 people); no pets; non-smoking.

First floor: Two bedrooms with high-quality box-spring beds, living-dining area with a wood-burning stove, sofas, dining table, and TV. Kitchen with induction stove, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, electric kettle, Nespresso capsule machine with Aerolatte, refrigerator with freezer compartments. One bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, and a separate restroom.

Upper floor: One bedroom with two double bunk beds and a TV, two bedrooms with double beds, one bathroom with a shower and a sauna, and a separate restroom.

Garden: Two terraces (south and west-facing) with armchairs, tables, and umbrellas; hammocks. Clotheslines for hanging beach towels; JEVER lounge chairs and deck chairs. Up to 3–4 parking spaces are available on the property. Utility room with washer, dryer, and clotheslines.

IMPORTANT: Due to the thatched roof, open fires are prohibited in the immediate vicinity of the house. At the back of the garden is a barbecue area with a Weber gas grill. The ditch along the long side of the property is not secured; disclaimer. The house may not be used as a venue for parties or events. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate youth groups.

Then our thatched cottage in Tating, which has been undergoing continuous renovation since 2019, is just the thing for you. Located just outside St. Peter-Ording, it’s a short walk to the beach, the golf course, Garding, or right into SPO—all while offering an idyllic, secluded setting nestled among pastures and meadows.

Plenty of space for quality time together

The large living and dining room offers ample space for up to 12 people, whether at the long table inside or—when the weather is nice—on the sunny south-facing terrace under the market umbrellas.

Cozy sofas in front of the large wood-burning stove invite you to chat, read, or simply watch the fire—pure comfort.

A home where you’ll feel right at home

Through the Danish wooden windows, you can see cows, sheep, and lambs—perfect for instantly slowing down.

In the living room and bedrooms, classic hardwood floors add warmth and charm.

The high-quality kitchen, equipped with an extra-large stove, dishwasher, and plenty of utensils, is sure to make any home cook’s heart beat faster.

Idyllic outdoor areas

The thatched-roof cottage rests along one of its long sides on a small dike.

The main entrance at the rear leads through the garden, which borders a water-filled, unfenced ditch.



The spacious south-facing terrace is sheltered from the wind and offers a sweeping view over the terraced garden and the adjacent lawn. Mature trees provide pleasant shade and a fairy-tale atmosphere.

A highlight is enjoying spectacular sundowners on the large wooden west-facing terrace—perfectly equipped with lounge chairs and deck chairs to wind down the day in relaxation.



Perfect for active vacationers

Guests with e-bikes can store their bikes safely in the utility room or hallway; the access doors can be locked.
