If you’d rather not drive to St. Peter-Ording (about a 10-minute drive) for a swim, why not visit the swimming area in Vollerwiek (about a 5-minute drive)? It’s also easily accessible by bike. At this DLRG-patrolled swimming area, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing day on vacation: parking, freshwater showers, sunbathing areas on the grassy slope, a sandbox, and steps leading into the water. Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
