High-quality vacation apartments in the Haubarg Windschuur in Eiderstedt, Welt. Built in 1837 as a typical Eiderstedt farmhouse, the building has been lovingly restored in recent years.

Today, there are 10 separate vacation apartments under the thatched roof. In the summer, the place is bustling with activity.

Surrounded by a spacious garden, the Haubarg is situated in the green marshlands. The Eider flood barrier, located 7 km away, provides protection from winter storms, and the seaside resort of St. Peter-Ording is about 12 km away.

The sea, with a supervised swimming area in Vollerwiek, is only about 4 km away.

For family celebrations or other events, the Haubarg Windschuur can also be rented in its entirety—provided you inquire well in advance. The spacious entry hall and the expansive garden with its mature trees offer an elegant North German ambiance and comfortable accommodations for more than 40 people.

The town of Garding, with its shopping, restaurants, cafés, weekly market, and various events, is also only about 2 km away. The wide sandy beaches of St. Peter-Ording are just a 10-minute drive away.

The DLRG-patrolled swimming area in Vollerwiek, complete with showers and a snack bar, is just 2 km away. It’s also easily accessible by bike. In Welt, there’s a parish pub serving North Frisian specialties. TIP: From May 1 through September 31, they offer buffet days four times a week. The matjes herring, suckling pig, skipper, and Eiderstedt buffets are very popular—you absolutely must try them!
