Facing south, it forms the east wing of a building complex arranged around a very beautiful, quiet, and secluded courtyard with seating areas and beach chairs. The vacation rental is charmingly designed in a Nordic style with many extras and, as a rooftop terrace loft with underfloor heating, measures 78 square meters. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the harbor and the Schlei.<br><br>The rooftop terrace is accessible through a custom-made patio door from the living area and, with a beach chair and additional outdoor furniture, offers a perfectly sheltered, private wellness experience—ideal for relaxing in the Schlei-Baltic Sea region. The loft consists of a spacious open-concept living, kitchen, and sleeping area, as well as a modern bathroom.<br><br>The kitchen, from the luxury brand Bulthaup, features a kitchen unit housing the sink, dishwasher, refrigerator with Fresh function, and a multifunction oven. The island features an induction cooktop and plenty of storage space thanks to soft-close drawers. All appliances are from high-quality brands such as Miele, Siemens, and NEFF. A coffee maker, kettle, and toaster round out the kitchen.<br><br>The centerpiece of the living area is two very comfortable armchairs with a footstool, a coffee table, and the fireplace—electric—whose realistic flame display adds to the cozy atmosphere. The TV can be adjusted via a telescopic mount for an ideal view from both the armchairs and the bed. Radio and Wi-Fi are, of course, included.<br><br>The sleeping area features a luxury box-spring bed (1.80 × 2 meters with two separate mattresses) as well as a nightstand on each side with a bedside lamp. The closet offers storage space for hanging and folding clothes. Cross the bascule bridge over the Schlei in Kappeln and follow the main road north; after about 150 meters, turn right onto Feldstraße. Then turn right at the third cross street onto Schanze. The second-to-last building complex on the right before the 90-degree turn is Schanze 10a.
