You can set out on beautiful hiking and biking tours through the Hochrhön and the surrounding area right from our doorstep. Marked hiking and biking trails lead to the Kreuzberg and scenic viewpoints in Schönau, such as the spot at the Markbergkreuz. You can cool off and refresh yourself at the Schönau outdoor pool or at the Burgwallbach swimming lake in the neighboring village. Easy routes with places to stop for refreshments and a playground are signposted for families. Tours through the Hochrhön and special mountain bike trails offer athletic challenges.
