Nestled in a narrow alley, the vacation home is located in the picturesque village of Prelá Castello, which is accessible only via this charming thoroughfare. It embodies the charm of a typical Ligurian natural-stone house.
The property is the result of the creativity of an artist and a designer, who have created a unique retreat here. Each room exudes its own special atmosphere, with every piece of furniture and detail telling a captivating story, as they are all one-of-a-kind items collected over the years.
During the renovation and restoration work, high-quality materials were used while antique elements were tastefully integrated. This harmonious blend of modern amenities and historic charm allows guests to immerse themselves in the house’s rich history without sacrificing comfort.
The large house consists of three floors connected by steep staircases. On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious bathroom with a shower, a bedroom with a double bed, and a living room with a sofa. On the second floor, you’ll find a second bedroom with an en suite restroom, as well as a large, bright kitchen-dining area. It’s very well-equipped, so home cooks will be delighted. Next to the kitchenette is a dining area. An open wooden staircase leads from the kitchen to the loggia, the covered terrace. Here, you can enjoy sweeping views across the entire valley. The roof provides shelter from the sun in the summer months and from the rain in the winter. The terrace can be used year-round, regardless of the weather.
Guests have access to digital TV and unlimited internet. The kitchen is very well-equipped and, of course, includes a washing machine. During the colder months, the house is heated by gas heating, which is billed based on usage.
You can park in the village’s free public parking lots; the house is about 80 meters away.
Casa nel Paese is ideal for guests seeking peace and seclusion, yet who also want to enjoy authentic Italian charm. You’ll be staying right in the heart of the village, which has only 10 residents and is traversed by a single road.
Due to the building’s structural features—such as steep stairs and partially open areas—we do not consider the house suitable for small children.
