Cottage 'Cascina Risotto' with Private Pool, Wi-Fi, and Air Conditioning

The cottage is nestled in a rich natural ecosystem: in the surrounding woods and meadows live foxes, roe deer, hares, dormice, and squirrels, as well as pheasants, woodpeckers, and butterflies. Dormice, which are similar to squirrels and not to mice, find shelter among the roof tiles during the warmer months. As they are protected by Italian law, their presence is an integral part of this authentic environment. Guests who are light sleepers are advised to bring earplugs.

a wonderful place in an amazing natural setting with a great host

Pros: In the morning, getting up, walking out, barefoot on the gras to the pool, enjoying the views is magical. Taking a shower in the morning or just dipping into the wonderful pool to wake up. Making breakfast (or lunch or dinner) and enjoying this on the terrace, onder lush green that keeps the heat from the sun away. The appartement has a small kitchen after a change of the downstairs area that doesn't show on the pictures (yet) where we cooked delicious meals. The owner who lives in the main house (and speaks English) is a wonderful host. Giving you the privacy you want. We invited him 2 nights to have dinner with us. We had a great night with all the stories he could tell from all the traveling he did and life experience he has. Cons: This should be under :-) but ran out of characters. If you are looking for luxury (there is a fridge, induction coocking, espresso machine, toaster, water kettle, microwave in the kitchen and airconditioning and fan in the bedroom, with good beds and clean linen) this may not be the place for you. The building is authentic and in a (very) rural environment meaning you are in the middle of nature with all the animals (bugs, cicadas, grasshopper, dormice, moths, bees and ants) around you. But also with grapes, figs (which we used in the salad) apples around you and peace and tranquility. For all 3 of us it was a wonderful, amazing stay. Thank you.

Perdue dans les vignes, à l’écart du village, petite maison agréable avec sa grande piscine, proche de nombreux villages pittoresques. Communication simple avec Ricardo qui est très sympathique. Il ne faut pas avoir peur des animaux, des loirs bien présents dans la toiture! Séjour agréable au calme

Prachtige plek, grote tuin en lekker zwembad. Het appartement is een mooie slaapkamer met beneden een kamer/keuken in een lichte ruimte met veel ramen. Het huis is authentiek en je moet een beetje voorzichtig zijn met alles. De host is heel aardig en hulpvaardig.

Een sfeervolle plek, geen luxe maar heel knus in een mooie omgeving

Pros: Hele lieve en aardige host. Als er wat was kon je bij hem terecht. Heeft ons verschillende tips gegeven. De kinderen waren nogal blij met het zwembad 😉 Cons: Niets
