Welcome to Spring Cottage, a beautiful Cotswold stone cottage in the heart of Bourton-on-the-Water, offering a comfortable and characterful retreat for up to six guests.
Set over three floors, the cottage combines traditional Cotswold charm with everything needed for a relaxing stay. There are three bedrooms – two double bedrooms and a twin – together with two bathrooms, including a top-floor en-suite.
Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining space provides a welcoming place to relax together, with a wood-burning stove adding to the cottage atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen makes self-catering easy, whether you're preparing breakfast before a day exploring the Cotswolds or enjoying dinner at home.
Outside, the beautiful private garden is one of Spring Cottage's real highlights, providing a lovely space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The cottage also benefits from off-road parking for two cars and an EV Charging point, particularly useful in popular Bourton-on-the-Water.
Spring Cottage is dog friendly, welcoming up to two dogs, so four-legged members of the family can enjoy a Cotswolds break too.
The cottage is ideally positioned for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water on foot, with the village's shops, pubs, restaurants and famous riverside attractions within easy reach. Beautifully appointed, easily accessible to the main village and great for families with a small park at the back. Super convenient with off street parking. The house was a delight to arrive to with fresh flowers and milk for afternoon tea. Lynsey was a kind and thoughtful host. Made for a very memorable stay in the Cotswolds

Such a charming cottage! The highlight was the “secret garden” gate to the playground for the kids and the cute shepherds hut with toys and books.

We had a wonderful week at Spring Cottage, despite the very hot weather (thanks to the fans in all of the bedrooms!). The cottage was immaculate and had everything we could need and more. I am very fastidious but could not fault the cottage, garden or fantastic support from Lynsey and Darren.

Spring cottage was delightful,excellent location to discover the Cotswolds.
Spring cottage was well thought out property which provided all our requirements and I cannot speak more highly of it .Will be recommending spring cottage to family and friends The hosts make you at home and more than welcome

A delightful cottage within easy walk of village
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2nd holiday in Spring Cottage. Lovely clean, well maintained cottage just a few minutes walk from the main village. Good communication with owners and easy check in and out.

A wet but enjoyable week in the Cotswolds!
Despite the endless driving rain outside, we had a great time at Spring Cottage, which was ideally located, spotlessly clean, and beautifully furnished. The arrival/ departure instructors were also very clear and the property had everything we needed.

Best Cottage in Bourton
Fantastic experience all round; Lynsey was brilliant from start to finish and the property was first class. Bourton makes a great base for exploring the Cotswolds.

Lovely cottage
Spring Cottage is lovely. Well appointed, characterful and just the right size for two couples and two children. A short walk into the lovely town and if you don't know where to go to eat or explore, Lynsey the owner will happily help you get the most out of your stay. Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful cottage in great location
A cosy and thoroughly well thought out spotless cottage perfectly positioned for walks around the village and along the river and across the road from a fantastic pub and restaurant. Loved it!

Fabulous cottage, really brilliant location.
We spent a fabulous week at Spring Cottage. The cottage itself is beautifully furnished with lots of space , immaculately clean and is very well equipped. The location is excellent, opposite a lovely pub and a very short walk into Bourton. We would recommend Spring Cottage and hope very much to stay again.

Lovely cottage, clean, well appointed and as described. Location perfect for exploring Bourton-on-the-Water and the Cotswolds.
Close enough to the centre of the village and a great pub across the road.

We had a fantastic stay and couldn’t have asked for better. The location is ideal—just a short walk into town. Even over a busy bank holiday, it felt like we had the best of both worlds, like we'd cheated the system somehow. We could dip in and out for food, shopping, and a bit of atmosphere, then retreat back to the house without worrying about parking (space for two cars on site) or dealing with the crowds for too long, although its a lot of fun people watching with an ice cream in hand.The house itself was spotless and beautifully presented, with everything we needed. We stayed as two adults with a 2.8-year-old, and it was well set up for families. There were even additional items suitable for younger children and babies, which was great to see.The shepherd’s hut was a highlight for our little one—she loved the tea set, Playmobil camper, and the selection of books for all ages. The direct access to the park from the back gate was also a huge plus, making it easy to come and go as we pleased.Beyond being family-friendly, the house is spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating six guests with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and dining areas. Even in May, the garden was catching the evening sun, so I imagine it’s a real sun trap in the summer months.Lynsey was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout.We’d absolutely recommend this property - a brilliant home in a great location, with plenty to do all walking distance.

Fantastic!
Fantastic cottage so homely and cosy we would definitely have stayed longer if work wasn’t calling. Very clean with all the conveniences. Very helpful recommendations by the owners as well. Greatly located as well.

Perfectly situated, gem.
Spring Cottage is a perfectly situated gem. Beautifully finished. Nicely layed out and very well equipped. Perfect for a family break. We look forward to visiting again.

Lovely break
We spent a week at the cottage over the Easter break and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. A lovely well stocked cottage in walking distance of the town centre. We will be back.

Perfect!
Wonderfully pretty cottage in a amazingly scenic village. Lots to do near by and then coming home to this beautiful home made it a perfect visit for us. Loads of walks near by, plenty of shops pubs and restaurants. Woke every morning to bird song! Lovely stay!
