A Private Guesthouse on Seven Acres

Seven Acres Retreat is a separate guesthouse just outside Cabot, set on seven quiet acres of Central Arkansas countryside. It sleeps five, with a king bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a twin rollaway bed, a full kitchen, one and a half baths, and a comfortable living area.

THE POOL IS YOURS

Not shared, not scheduled. The pool and waterslide are reserved exclusively for you and your registered guests for the length of your stay. We live in the main house on the property and do not use the pool while guests are here.

Outside you will find a covered patio, a Weber grill, and a propane fire table. Slow mornings with coffee under cover, evenings under Arkansas stars.

WHO IT SUITS

We keep it small on purpose. The guesthouse sleeps five, and the pool and grounds are yours alone for your stay, which is what makes it feel like a retreat rather than a venue. It is at its best for a couple, a small family, or a weekend of doing very little.

YOU WILL NOT LIFT A FINGER

There is no checkout chore list here. Leave the dishes, leave the linens, leave the trash. We take care of all of it.

GOOD TO KNOW

Year-round pool. The private pool is open year-round, weather permitting, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. It is unheated, so the water can be very cold in winter, especially January. Swimming is typically most comfortable from May through September and may remain comfortable into October, depending on temperatures. A specific water temperature is not guaranteed. The pool may occasionally be unavailable due to weather, routine maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances. If that happens during your stay, we will let you know as quickly as we can.

Pool safety. The pool is not fenced. Children must be actively supervised by an adult at all times in and around the pool. Full safety information is provided in your guidebook.

A separate residence. Although the guesthouse sits on our property, it is a completely separate home with its own entrance and parking. We are nearby if you need us, and otherwise we leave you to your stay.

High-speed Wi-Fi. Dedicated throughout the guesthouse, and well suited to streaming, video calls, and remote work.

Parking. Complimentary, directly beside the guesthouse, so unloading is easy.

Traveling with your dog? Well-behaved dogs are welcome with advance approval and a pet fee. Please keep your dog supervised on the property and clean up after them. Pet blankets are provided for use whenever your dog is on the furniture.

Getting around. A car is the easiest way to get around. Restaurants, groceries, and shopping are a short drive away, with Little Rock and Little Rock Air Force Base close by.
