We created Return To Roots Resort because we love getting away, spending time outdoors and slowing life down a little — but we also appreciate a comfortable bed, a hot shower and a few luxuries along the way.
Our goal was to create the kind of getaway we'd want to stay at ourselves: peaceful, private and memorable, with everything you need to relax and reconnect. We're a small, locally owned resort, and we've put a lot of thought and personality into every dome.

Return To Roots sits on 30 private acres in the Missouri countryside near Butler, surrounded by open skies, trees and plenty of room to breathe. It's peaceful enough to unplug and enjoy a quiet evening around the fire or in the hot tub, while still being an easy getaway from Kansas City.

The Fur Seasons isn't a cabin, hotel room or ordinary vacation rental. It's a fully insulated luxury geodesic dome designed to give you the fun of being close to nature without giving up the comforts of a great getaway — and your dog gets to come along too!
Inside you'll find a king bed, full bathroom with rainfall shower, kitchenette, Wi-Fi and plenty of thoughtful touches. Outside, you have your own private hot tub, covered patio, gas grill, smokeless fire pit and seating area.
