At the foot of the mystical Untersberg—where, according to legend, Emperor Charlemagne rests—and within sight of the “Sleeping Witch”: we extend our warmest welcome to you at our home. 
The apartment, freshly renovated in the fall of 2023, features a bedroom and a living area. The living area features a sleeper sofa, cable TV, a radio, and a well-equipped kitchenette. In addition to two stovetop burners and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, you’ll find a selection of pots, dishes, silverware, and dish soap, as well as a kettle.
Separated by a room divider, the sleeping area is located in the back and consists of a bed (120x200 cm) and a closet. From here, you can access the separate bathroom, which features a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. Towels, soap, and toilet paper are provided.
The unit is located on the first floor of the house and is accessible at ground level via a separate entrance. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the living area.
A free parking space is available right next to the house.
Located literally at the gateway to the Berchtesgaden Alps, a breathtaking view of the valley basin—featuring the Watzmann, Jenner, and Kehlstein peaks—opens up just a few meters from the house. A stroll along the Maximilian Riding Trail, which runs above the property and is accessible via a direct footpath leading up to it, also offers moments of relaxation. From here, hikes and mountain tours to the Untersberg, the Rauer Kopf, or the Kastensteinerwand are also possible. And for those who want to head straight to Berchtesgaden or Königssee, there’s a bus stop just a few minutes’ walk away. The “Panorama-Park” shopping center, with a wide variety of stores for everyday needs, is also located in the immediate vicinity and is within walking distance.
