Camping Village Mare Pineta offers comfortably furnished mobile homes. The beach is just a 5-minute drive from the campground. You can reach it by car or use the resort’s free shuttle (high season only). The resort’s spacious swimming area features a semi-Olympic pool, a children’s pool, and fun water features. There are several lounge chairs available by the pool, while in the sunbathing area—which offers a magnificent view of the beach, Sistiana Bay, and the Gulf of Trieste—you can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs. At the Rilke Bar & Restaurant, you can treat yourself to delicious regional dishes while admiring the wonderful view of the Gulf of Trieste. For sports enthusiasts, there are tennis and table tennis courts, a fitness area, great hiking trails with panoramic views, and a diving school by the sea (for a fee). For younger guests, there’s a lovely playground, a playroom, and a mini-club during the summer months.
The Baia Comfort mobile home accommodates up to 4 people. It features a bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. The living room has a cozy dining area with satellite TV. The kitchen, equipped with a stove, pots, dishes, silverware, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, is integrated into the living area. There is a bathroom divided into two areas: one with a shower, toilet, and sink, and a smaller one with a toilet and sink. The covered patio with a table and chairs is perfect for relaxing, while the children can play on the playground. Note: If you need more than one accommodation, this is usually possible with us, as we have several properties of the same style.
ARRIVAL DATE + LENGTH OF STAY
Please refer to the calendar for the arrival and departure dates as well as the minimum length of stay during your desired season. Note: If, for any reason, you are unable to arrive on the scheduled arrival date, you may of course check in the following day (please notify us before arrival). The same applies if you wish to depart early; in this case, you may also check out the day before. However, the rental period and price specified at the time of booking remain unchanged.
BEACH
The beach is about a 5-minute drive from the resort. The resort offers a free shuttle service during peak season. You can either use the public beach or rent lounge chairs and umbrellas; there is also a bar on site.
POOL
The Camping Village’s swimming pool features a semi-Olympic-sized pool, a children’s pool, and fun water features. There are a few lounge chairs available by the pool, while in the sunbathing area—which offers a magnificent view of the beach, Sistiana Bay, and the Gulf of Trieste—you can rent umbrellas and lounge chairs.
FAMILY-FRIENDLY
A crib and high chair can be provided upon request and for a fee. During the summer months, an entertainment program is offered for guests of all ages.
LEISURE AND SPORTS
If you want to stay in shape while on vacation, you’ll be spoiled for choice. The following sports activities are available: tennis, table tennis, basketball, soccer, hiking, mountain biking, water sports, boat trips, and a fitness area on the premises.
SHOPPING
The resort features both a grocery store—where you’ll find fresh food as well as a selection of everyday items—and a bazaar where you can buy beach gear, newspapers, and souvenirs. Alternatively, just a few minutes’ drive away, you’ll find bakeries and supermarkets where you can stock up on daily necessities.
MEALS
The accommodation features a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. The resort features a bar, restaurant, a small supermarket, and a bazaar.
PETS
Two medium-sized pets are allowed per unit and must be registered at the time of booking. Note: A final cleaning fee per vacation rental is mandatory if dogs are brought along.

CITY AND SURROUNDINGS
The area surrounding Camping Village Mare Pineta is truly one-of-a-kind and is known as the Trieste Karst. The rolling hills give way to a breathtaking coastal landscape. Thanks to this diversity, the area offers countless opportunities for recreational activities. Right in front of the campground, the famous Rilke Trail leads to the beautiful Duino Castle, which is definitely worth a visit. The masonry and interior rooms are well-preserved, and the terrace offers a unique view of the sea. The Grotta Gigante, right next door, is one of the largest tourist caves in the world and well worth a visit. The city of Trieste is just a few kilometers from the resort and, with its beautiful old town, is a cultural and gastronomic destination for tourists. Sights include: Miramare Castle, the famous Barcola recreational area in Trieste—which gave its name to the famous sailing regatta—and the famous Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia, surrounded by elegant and historic coffeehouses.
