Our vacation rental is fully equipped for 6 people. From a TV and Wi-Fi to a washing machine, dishwasher, and bathtub—and even a fireplace and sauna—you’ll enjoy all the amenities. In the summer, enjoy the rooftop terrace with lounge furniture, a parasol, a hammock, and a Weber gas grill; in the winter, get cozy in front of the stove or in the sauna house on the rooftop terrace. Bed linens and towels are, of course, included, as is storage for your bicycles in the adjacent barn. You can also easily charge e-bikes there. A wall-mounted charging station is at your disposal. In your refrigerator, you’ll find a starter supply of beverages, such as water and milk. A Nespresso machine, including capsules, is ready for you to use. Upon request, we’d be happy to provide a filter coffee maker as well. You’ll find the toaster in the kitchen cabinet. At our wonderful village bakery, you can buy not only fresh bread and rolls but also all your other daily necessities. In the neighboring village, you’ll find a lovely farm stand selling fresh, regional fruits and vegetables. In the welcome letter, you’ll find a list of my personal recommendations, and my entire family and I are always happy to assist you and help in any way we can!
Dear guests,
a warm welcome to our vacation rental at the Alte Gehöft Stauder. This old farmhouse is a family estate and was formerly run as a three-field crop rotation system, with arable farming, livestock, and viticulture as its core activities. On the outside, many features evoke times gone by. The fields, meadows, and vineyards are still owned by the family. Inside, however, the house has been completely renovated and brought up to today’s standards. If you enjoy modern living in an old farmhouse, you’ve come to the right place.
For a special getaway in the heart of the Palatinate, along the German Wine Route, we’d like to offer you a cozy apartment with a rooftop terrace. In the historic wine village of Duttweiler, you can enjoy renowned wineries right in the neighborhood, hikes in the Palatinate Forest, or bike rides along the German Wine Route all the way to Alsace. Experience evening sunsets in the Wiesental valley, strolls along the Kropsbach stream, and our outdoor pool in the summer. Duttweiler is a little gem of the Palatinate. Nature lovers, wine connoisseurs, cyclists, and kind-hearted people will all find happiness here. The fresh air, the wonderful climate, the beauty of nature, and the contented animals along the Kropsbach stream are a balm for the soul. Evening walks at sunset with a view of the Palatinate Forest are unforgettable. Here you’ll find peace, tranquility, and a high quality of life. It’s a small, green, happy paradise—and a getaway well worth taking!
We’re very much looking forward to welcoming you and will do everything we can to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
