En Unique Luxury Bahamas Villa

KettleStone er en spektakulær ocean-front Villa på smukt fredfyldte "familie ø" af Andros i Bahamas. Beliggende i de kystnære baldakin kun få minutter fra faciliteter, det er indbegrebet af en afsondret feriebolig.

KettleStone består af en central opholdsstue, CedarTop, som indeholder de åbne koncept opholds-og spisestue, central køkken og en radial sten trappe fører til en hems soveværelse suite med bad, opkaldt Morgans Loft efter den berygtede Captain Morgan, hvis historier er en iboende del af denne øens lokalhistoriske. CedarTop komplimenteres af yderligere to soveværelse suiter, Cayview og Sunrise, hver tilbyder en fantastisk panoramaudsigt over havet og store ensuite bad komplet med dobbelt dør bruser.

KettleStone er udstyret med alle moderne bekvemmeligheder, og har en frisk vand swimmingpool, vandfald og boblebad spa i tillæg til trin gå lige ud i havet lagune eller på det nybyggede dock. Nyd den varme beroligende firelight fra vores udendørs brand-on-glas pejs eller blande din favorit drik på den udendørs køkken og bar.

Grill-mestre kan nyde Palapa overdækket grill station komplet med sin egen belysning system.

Der er masser af aktiviteter på øen, og på ejendommen for at tilfredsstille alle i en familie eller venner gruppe. Amazing place!

We had a great experience! Everyone was very nice and helped us plan our adventures while we were there! Zimmie prepared delicious meals and was a delight. We will definitely go back! If we ever needed something, they were very accommodating and made it happen five stars!!!

Magical private getaway!

If you are looking for a very quiet, luxurious place to getaway, KettleStone is for you! The property is gorgeous, completely private, and service is the most thoughtful, attentive and excellent we've enjoyed at any VRBO. Whatever you do, don't try to cook for yourself - you want to enjoy Zemi's incredible hospitality and delicious meals...plus there just is really no where nearby to get groceries. We can't wait to return.

Superb Property

What a wonderful vacation my family had at KettleStone Villa! The grounds, the island, the host, Michael, Zemi the cook and Michette the housekeeper were superb. Anything we could have needed or thought we needed was fulfilled by this team of kind, dedicated and meticulous group. If you’re considering KettleStone for you vacation, I recommend moreover anywhere I’ve vacationed.

Superb home in superb location. Host and assistants first class in every way. Every request handled perfectly. The home comes with everything you need. Spacious and comfortable. Be sure to request groceries pre-arrival, not much of a grocery shopping option, but host will handle before and/or during stay. In house chef fantastic. Can't wait to return.

Spectacular stay in Andros

We had a wonderful time at KettleStone Villa. Michael was a great host. Friendly, accommodating and always available to help with any needs that may arise. Zemi and Michette go above and beyond to provide great food and keep the house clean. Having access to the van for quick runs to town and to the blue hole for a swim was nice. The boat was great, too. Zemi prepared our freshly caught fish for dinner every night and it was spectacular. Andros is a beautiful island. If you love the Bahamas and its natural beauty you will not be disappointed. KettleStone Villa is a five start experience from beginning to end. We are planning a trip back very soon!

Kettlestone amazing

Had a wonderful time. The property was beautiful. Having access to the water, boat and minivan really enhanced our stay. Michet kept everything clean and spotless with daily fresh bed and towels. Zeme provided gourmet meals that would please any foodies. Michael our host was always available to be of assistance and point us in the right direction. A truly memorable vacation experience. We hope to return soon.

REALLY A BEAUTIFUL ESTATE!

Gorgeous and I mean GORGEOUS property. Pretty much exactly as nice as it looks in the photos. No surprises which we really appreciated. Owner Mike made homemade pizzas and the in-house chef Zemi cooked meals which were all FAR BEYOND what one could find in a restaurant. Really lovely lady too! Zemi and Michette worked daily and took care of literally everything. Mike arranged all excursions which were super. If you truly want a luxurious vacation in paradise, this is the place!!!

Stunning stay! Our experience at Kettleston was beyond exceptional. The breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and impeccable service made it truly unforgettable. The highlight was undoubtedly the talented chef Zemi who delighted our taste buds with culinary masterpieces every day. Michete brightened our afternoons and created a welcoming environment. Another Great Visit to Kettlestone

We recently returned from our second visit to Andros and Kettlestone. This trip was, perhaps, even better than our first because we were able to expand on our activities and knew some of the ins and outs of Andros. Andros is a beautiful island and we enjoy the serenity. What truly makes the experience, however, is the attentiveness of Mike and his willingness to arrange or direct you toward any activity that you might be interested in. In addition, the house is beautiful and is equipped with everything that you might need during your stay. We will definitely be back for a return visit.

Quiet, Welcoming & Peaceful

Our stay at KettleStone did not disappoint. Our family of 5 had just the right amount of space for both privacy and family time. There was plenty to do, on and off the property and a variety of options to choose from - if the weather was fickle. Some highlights included DIY snorkeling with the boat, beach days at Somerset, bone fishing with Jamal and pizza night with Zemi and Michael. All that said, the staff was out of this world... friendly, knowledgeable, funny, welcoming and hard working. The food was delicious, fresh and made with love. Michette and Zemi are the BEST. We left with full hearts and refueled tanks.

Paradise surrounds you!

Mike and his wonderful staff (I don't like the word staff because Zemi and Michet treat you as family!) go out of there way to set you up for sucess. The Villa is open to the pool then the ocean and just makes you relax. Zemi makes amazing meals as a well as K' Lee and Porsha (They treat you as family as well!) Please don't go and cook for yourself, you will miss some amazing food! Mike ha sthis place dialed and will set up everything for you (give him advanced notice as Andros has limited everything.) Not a better place on Andros!

Fabulous!

The staff were exceptional and we enjoyed getting to know them. Michael was a tremendous host. He arranged everything for us— charter flights, snorkeling, diving for conch, massages, pedicures. When our flight was canceled, we were able to stay an extra night, and Michael made it extraordinarily easy for us by arranging for a charter flight change and even obtaining and administering COVID tests when we had to do them a 2nd time late on Christmas Eve. The accommodations were amazing and pristine. It was one of the most relaxing vacations any of us have had. We had Zemi cook many of our meals and highly recommend her.

Beautiful Property in Paradise

We had AMAZING week at Kettlestone. Michael is a great host and has the home equipped with everything you may need for your stay. From the first day we booked he was always available to answer questions and guide us to what we would need for our week stay. He made everything go super smooth. The home is very very comfortable, beautiful, spacious and clean. We went to relax so we had Zemi cook for us everyday and Michette, the daily housekeeper, are as great as Michael. What a team! Zemi cooks delicious and most important, does it with lots of love. We had homemade deserts every night and her hot sauce is the best! So good we took home with us. We can’t wait to go back to Kettlestone!!!!

Amazing Vacation

This property was beyond our expectations. The staff and Mike the owner were there for us anytime we needed them! The home was absolutely gorgeous that it brought tears to my eyes every day! I loved everything about our stay! The food we ordered was there when we arrived and they worked with us on the food we didn't eat! Mike was always available for questions about fishing and boating, transportation even before we even got there! The pool was perfect! The chef was phenomenal! The view was incredible and we would go back again in a heart beat! Love love loved it all! Thank for a trip of a lifetime and for making our stay so enjoyable!

Absolutely Beautiful Villa with Five Star Staff

Our family of five just returned from a very relaxing week at Kettlestone. The villa is just beautiful and the view is unmatched. Mike was the perfect host, making sure all plans for travel, bone fishing, diving, and dining out went smoothly. He checked in every day, and was only a phone call away to assist with plans and questions. The staff was five star, KayLee is an excellent chef and prepared wonderful four course dinners on our evenings in, all beautifully presented. I highly recommend her bountiful breakfasts as well! Latoya was her cheerful assistant. We had a very festive and memorable birthday party with their help. Michelle came everyday to tidy the house, answered questions, gave us great suggestions and directions.

Best Villa Experience We Have Ever Had

My family and I have stayed in villas all over the world, and Kettlestone was by far the best in terms of overall experience. The property is beautiful, the staff is friendly and dedicated to anticipating and responding to guests' every need. Most appreciated was the owner/staff's flexibility regarding our preferences. We were at Kettlestone for a month, and were working during the day, and we found the environment conducive to that (good internet, good cell service). The villa chef, Zemi, prepared delicious meals for us most nights; we recommend that you take advantage of this service as there are very few restaurants on Andros. Michette did a great job keeping the villa clean and also shopping for us, going to great lengths sometimes to find items we requested. We loved our experience so much that we booked again for next year, which pretty much says it all. No more looking for the perfect place to escape to during the winter; Kettlestone is it!

3rd Excellent Stay at Kettlestone!

Highly recommend this masterpiece villa with breathtaking views, relaxing paradise environment & fabulous people! We just returned, from another perfect stay, fully rejuvenated. Mike provided thorough info before & during our visit to ensure we had the best time. Zemi prepared the most delicious meals & her hospitality was over the moon, including making yummy extras. Michette provided excellent housekeeping, keeping the villa spotless & going out of her way to make us feel welcomed & cared for. Mike, Zemi & Michette all provided exquisite hospitality & made us feel like family! Can’t say enough great things about each of them & this stunning property. The tranquility of Kettlestone is divine. We loved enjoying the pool with waterfall & hot tub, star gazing on the dock & viewing marine life with the green dock light at night, pizza from the brick pizza over, fresh coconuts harvested & cut by Jonas, using the great van to visit Captain Bill’s Blue Hole & fun ride around the island in the villa's boat. Can’t wait to return for a 4th visit!

A highlight of our Caribbean experience

An absolute gem that could easily be twice the price. The team were fabulous and made us feel like family. The style of stay is of having the exclusive use of a small, immaculately maintained resort. There were always staff on hand to assist. The owner, Mike, is the de facto mayor of Andros island, and knows and is known by everyone we met there. Michette and Zemi provide cooking and cleaning, but are also extremely well connected on the island and were able to make wonderful referrals, and are creative, fun, and funny. In this trip we are visiting 5 islands and staying in 6 villas, and this was easily the highest quality and most fun experience. My 6-year-old daughter keeps asking when Zemi’s birthday is so she can send her a card. I hesitate to write this because the property already does most of its business with repeat customers - I hate to make it less available to us in future!

KettleStone is the brainchild of Michael Hornby, a former resident of Ontario, Canada, who fell in love with Andros Island during a diving vacation in 1988. In 1997, driven by his passion for scuba diving and a desire for a simpler lifestyle, Michael took a leap of faith and moved to the Bahamas. Today, he resides on Andros Island, where he consults for a local all-inclusive resort and manages KettleStone. With a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, Michael enjoys engaging in activities like Blue Hole cave diving, deep wall diving, and holds licenses as a private pilot and boat captain. Throughout his 26 years on Andros Island, Michael has developed a genuine appreciation for the island's unassuming beauty and the warmth of its local community. Motivated by his vision, Michael set out to create KettleStone, a luxurious home that seamlessly blends with the island's natural surroundings while embodying meticulous attention to detail.
