Our age-appropriate vacation home is ideal for cyclists and is located in Sonsbeck on the left bank of the Lower Rhine, between the Roman town of Xanten and the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer. The Ruhr region and the Netherlands are within easy reach. Sonsbeck has its own highway access (BAB 57). A bike path runs right next to the vacation home (semi-detached house). It owes its name, “Haus Biber,” to the beavers that have made their home behind the house since 2021. The vacation home is not wheelchair-accessible, but it can be reached from the basement to the upper floor via a stairlift. Additionally, a walker is available free of charge at the property. Two bedrooms are located on the upper floor, and one bedroom is in the converted attic. The guest restroom on the first floor, as well as the very spacious bathroom on the upper floor, are equipped with age-appropriate features (including fold-down grab bars). The basement features a laundry room (washing machine, dryer, freezer). A wallbox with its own meter is available for plug-in vehicles; use of the wallbox is subject to a fee. Bicycles can be stored on-site.
