Our vacation rental “Number 5” offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation with your family or travel group. Plenty of space and comfort ensure everyone has enough room to relax.
With 2 full bathrooms, 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 12 people, and a huge living-kitchen area centered around a large dining table, it’s the perfect place to eat, play, and socialize together.
The living area features hardwood floors and exposed half-timbering.
The kitchen is, of course, fully equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils. A dishwasher takes care of the dishes for you.
For your children, we’re happy to provide high chairs, travel cribs, a vaporizer, or baby bouncers, subject to availability—just let us know before your arrival.
The sofa arrangement offers plenty of space to host a cozy movie night with all your loved ones.
A corner balcony is the icing on the cake of this apartment. Patio furniture is available for you during the season.
The “Number 5” vacation rental is located on the first floor. It’s accessible via a closed staircase, so even your four-legged friend should be able to get up and down without any trouble.
The outdoor area and the facade of the vacation home are still partially under construction; this has been factored into the pricing. However, you don’t need to worry about construction noise—the “major” work is complete. The view on one side could still be improved (our neighbor is storing building materials there), but looking out the front, you’ll see across farmland into the distance and can even spot the “Königstein” landmark.
On the property, you’ll find a cozy barbecue area with seating.
You’re also welcome to visit our horses in the stable and paddocks. If you’d like to bring your own horse, that’s also very welcome. We always have a number of guest stalls and paddocks available for you. You’re always welcome to use the equestrian facilities, including the indoor arena and outdoor riding arena.
For your horse’s wellness program, you can use our solarium and saltwater chamber (for a fee).
Our vacation home and the equestrian facilities are located in the rural outskirts of the town of Westerhausen. Despite the peaceful surroundings, bordered by fields and forests, you’re right in the heart of one of Germany’s most popular vacation regions.
The World Heritage city of Quedlinburg and the picturesque Bode Valley are less than 10 minutes away by car. The historic old town of Wernigerode is about 20 minutes away. From sightseeing to action-packed activities and wellness, you’ll find countless options in the surrounding area.
But Westerhausen itself is also worth a visit, with its small petting zoo, outdoor pool, and great shopping. Hiking and biking tours can start right from here.
We love dogs, and they are warmly welcome here. However, for the comfort of our other guests and to protect our furnishings, please understand that we do not allow dogs on the beds or on upholstered furniture. If you need dog towels, poop bags, or bowls, we’ll be happy to provide them free of charge. Well-behaved and sociable dogs are welcome to run freely on our property. We sincerely thank you for your understanding and consideration.
