ChiemseeZeit - cozy vacation home on Lake Chiemsee with fireplace & sauna

Newly renovated vacation home with a fireplace and sauna (infrared), up to 4 bedrooms, a fully equipped country-style kitchen with a bar counter, a bright bathroom with a large shower and bathtub, a guest restroom, as well as a beautiful balcony and large garden.

ARRIVAL:
You’ve parked your car in one of the two parking spaces right in front of the front door. Use your personal keycode to unlock the front door, hang your coats in the entryway, and step into the cozy dining room—your vacation begins...

DINING ROOM:
The large solid-wood table has room for everyone—not just for meals, but you can also start your first game of chess or something similar right away, or just sit together comfortably and chat ;-)
Of course, we’ll provide high chairs for children if needed.

From there, you’ll enter the hallway, which has plenty of space for shoes, jackets, coats, etc.

The hallway is the hub of the home, as it leads to the kitchen, the living room, the guest bathroom, the first floor, and the basement.

KITCHEN:
The bright country-style kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic-top stove and oven, as well as a dishwasher, refrigerator, and freezer. This is a cook’s paradise.
Take a seat at the bar counter and enjoy your first cup of coffee, a glass of water, or your first Bavarian beer...
The counter offers plenty of space for breakfast, a quick meal, or to watch the cook at work.
Of course, there are plenty of pots, plates, cups, etc., so the home cooks among you can get started right away...

LIVING ROOM:
From the kitchen, you enter the living room.
Depending on the season, you can make yourself comfortable right by the fireplace or sit out on the patio and enjoy the view of the garden.
The cozy, spacious couch can also be converted into an additional double bed in no time at all. Of course, you can all relax here together and watch TV.

On the first floor, Carrara marble has been installed in all rooms except the dining room. The dining room has Cotto tiles.

BEDROOM 1 with balcony:
This beautiful bedroom with a KING-SIZE bed is not just great for sleeping. It also invites you to relax and read a book or watch a little TV.
The bed’s comfortable height and adjustable slatted frame make it especially cozy.

The dresser offers plenty of space for a few essential items of clothing.
You won’t need a wardrobe, because this vacation home has a walk-in closet that you can access separately.

BEDROOM 2 with balcony:
Bedroom 2 offers the same features as Bedroom 1. Here, too, you have access to the beautiful balcony that catches the morning sun.
The bed is also at a comfortable height and features adjustable slatted frames.
Of course, a baby crib can also be added to this room.

CLOSET:
We love this super-practical closet—it’s walk-in and has its own door.
Especially when you’re traveling with kids or have a lot of luggage...

WORKSPACE:
Want to—or need to—get a little work done?
No problem—the table in the hallway offers plenty of space for a laptop and monitor.

BATHROOM:
You can also access the large, light-filled bathroom from the hallway. In addition to a large shower, you can also relax in the bathtub. Of course, there’s also a toilet. The washing machine is available for your use in the basement.

BASEMENT—Bedroom 3:
This is the third regular bedroom, also featuring a double bed at a comfortable height with adjustable slatted frames. There’s also a spacious closet and a dresser here.
As in all the bedrooms, we’ve installed blackout curtains here as well, so you won’t be woken up too early by the first rays of sunlight...

BASEMENT—Fitness, Relaxation, and Quiet Rooms:
The first room houses our sauna (infrared). You can also relax here on the comfortable loungers outside the sauna.
Want to get a little exercise?
No problem—in the adjacent fitness area, you can really work up a sweat on the weight bench, stepper, or exercise bike.

TOWELS & BED LINEN:
Of course, we provide all of you with bed linen and towels for the duration of your stay.

TERRACE:
In the summer, the large southeast-facing terrace invites you to start your day with breakfast outdoors. There’s a table and chairs, as well as a large umbrella, of course.
Want to grill? By all means—a large electric stand-up grill is available for your use.

PARKING SPACES & STORAGE ROOM:
There are parking spaces for two cars on the property. You’ll find additional free parking spots nearby.
There’s also plenty of space in the storage room to store motorcycles, bicycles, skis, snowboards, or similar items.

GARDEN:
The large garden offers enough space to relax together in the sun or to read a book in peace in a secluded, shady spot.
Of course, garden loungers and deck chairs are also available for the duration of your stay.
