Det er en leg at nyde vores Oceanview-lejlighed, bare Flip Flop Inn.

Vores Condo, på tredje sal, har altid en dejlig brise, der blæser gennem det. Du kan holde skydedørene åbne for at nyde den friske luft og høre bølgerne. AC tilgængelig, hvis du vil have det. Master suite har en queensize-seng, privat badeværelse, fladskærms-tv og adgang til skydedør til altanen med en utrolig udsigt. Værelse har to enkeltsenge med ekstra badeværelse med badekar og bruser. Fuldt udstyret køkken, totalrenoveret i efteråret 2016, for at nyde måltider derhjemme eller bare for at få noget blenderdrik. Komfortabel stue med fladskærms-tv og stereoanlæg. Alle elsker at sidde på vores rummelige balkon morgen, middag og aften. Der er 2 loungestole samt et bord og 4 stole. Hvorfor spise inde?

Vi tilbringer 2 til 3 måneder om året på vores condo. Det er indrettet til at være vores andet hjem, ikke kun et leje, så der er masser af personlige præg, som vores gæster sætter pris på.

Gorgeous slice of paradise

The condo was very clean, cute and comfortable. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Liz and Don were wonderful hosts and provided lots of information and tips both before and during the trip. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Beautiful Sunrise

We loved staying at this condo! It was furnished with everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect with the most amazing view of Christianstead. We enjoyed watching the sunrise each morning and playing cards on the deck in the evening. The beach was lovely and the water was perfect for snorkeling. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool. We will definitely stay here again! 🌴

Wonderful stay

I travel to STX monthly for work. Rarely have I stayed in a rental where I could say I would definitely stay again. I am extremely particularly (almost OCD) about cleanliness. It is clear that this unit is well taken cared of. The owners attention to detail is spot on and most importantly, it is clean. This is in a great location and has an excellent restaurant footsteps away. I look forward to staying again.

Terrific getaway

This is the perfect vacation to take in the middle of a frigid winter. The location is convenient to Christiansted, grocery stores, and restaurants. The condo was very clean and provided everything we needed. Everyone at the complex was friendly and helpful. We had such a great time. The owners were very quick to answer any questions and make suggestions before we arrived. My husband and I loved watching the sunrise each morning from the porch. We would definitely stay here again.

St Croix Flip Flop Condo

My wife and daughters thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Liz and Don's condo. Liz gave us points of interest, places to check out and was readily available when I had a couple questions, responding quickly to my texts. The condo is clean with updated appliances and everything you need to cook your own meals if needed. It's right on the beach with snorkeling available right from the beach to see lots of marine life. It was a great place to unwind and was not crowded at all which is exactly what we were looking for. Would rent again.

A week in paradise

This was a perfect spot. The unit is on the 3rd floor (top) and has a large balcony that overlooks the pool and has a beautiful ocean view as well. The unit was very comfortable and the location is only about a 10 minute drive to the boardwalk in Christiansted. There is great snorkeling right at the beach by the condo. Liz was great at communicating with me throughout the reservation process and kept me updated on the Covid situation on the islands. It’s a great place to spend a week in paradise and I highly recommend it. Thank you!

We loved our stay at The Flip Flop Inn

Don and Liz were extremely hospitable, and always responded very quickly. The property has everything you could ask for a beach condo….beach chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear, and even an ice chest with ice packs. The seaweed was heavily piled up on the beach so we were unable to access it, and the smell it caused prevented us from going outside to the pool and sit on the balcony. However, I am told it is normal for this time of year and we wouldn’t let this stop us from booking here again.

This was our second stay on St Croix, first time at this condo. Family agreed that we liked this condo better than the one we stayed at on previous trip. We loved that the 2nd bedroom had 2 singles instead of a full- makes child sleeping arrangements go well. Condo was equipped well, towels, coolers, chairs, etc, Kitchen pots/pans/appliances were plenty. The ocean view shown in the pictures is very accurate- you can see the pool and the ocean, you aren't exactly parallel to the beach, but you aren't perpendicular either- so you get the view. Donald was sure to touch base with us and make sure we weren't in need of anything. I did have to contact him about the 2nd bedroom ac unit. It was not working. He had it fixed almost immediately- on Christmas Eve, no less! The only thing I did not care for was the chemical scent from exterminator. It wasn't very strong- my husband said he could not smell it, but I washed/rinsed everything off in the kitchen (pots, dishes, glasses, utensils) mainly because I am super paranoid about chemical exposure. However, I did not see any signs of pets anywhere in the condo. Our family stayed 10 days over Christmas Vacation and had a great time since the condo is conveniently located. I absolutely recommend!

Great Winter (or anytime) getaway!

Despite the damage that Hurricane Maria brought to the beautiful island of St. Croix, Flip Flop Inn was in PERFECT condition! The condo is beautifully and tastefully decorated, all of the necessities are there (and then some!). My sister and I had a great vacation and spent a lot of time on the spacious deck. We never once turned on the A/C and had wonderful breezes on the third floor. Due to the destruction of Hurricane Maria, the next door condo lost its roof and so there was some gutting of the condo going on but the workers were fabulous as well as all of the islanders. I would gladly go back and stay here. The place was exactly as described and the views are amazing. The condo is quite spacious and comfy and has everything you might need. Thanks Liz & Don for a great place!

Perfect Stay at the Flip Flop Inn

Liz and Don were the perfect hosts and were very helpful the entire two weeks my wife and I stayed at the Flip Flop. The condo was very clean and well taken care of and fit our needs perfectly. My favorite part was the balcony. I was working every day while there and we ended up cooking dinner at the condo most nights and sitting out on the balcony to eat at the nice table out there. There are grocery stores and everything you might need nearby. Highly recommended is a visit to the Animal Shelter nearby. Very nice people and they do a great job. They're happy to have volunteers come in and take the dogs for a walk if you are so inclined. Also highly recommended is the Breezes restaurant which is a short walk down the beach at the east end of the condo development just to the east of Colony Cove. Great food at reasonable prices and nice outdoor seating - no need to go into the city!

What a View!

My wife and I had a great stay at the Colony Cove. The view from the expansive balcony was spectacular and where we spent most of our time in the mornings and evenings. The unit was exactly as described and Liz was very informative about suggestions for restaurants and quickly answered any questions we had. The pool area is well maintained and quiet. There was always a great breeze at the beach but it’s been affected by a large amount of sargassum seaweed. That didn’t bother us as we visited the different beaches on St Croix each day. While there, there was tile construction taking place outside as well as inside of various units and there were days when we would hear jack hammering into the early evening. As this is an older complex, I do see that renovations are needed. In closing, Colony Cove provides a central location to the various sites on the island and many fantastic restaurants.

Awesome view!!!

The location of Don and Liz's condo was perfect! The view was simply amazing and my husband and I spent most of our time when we were at the condo on the huge balcony! Best part of the condo!! We loved it out there day and night!! Comfy bed too! The pool and the tire reef was awesome! We had an amazing time on the island going to so many beaches, snorkeling, etc. Everyone is so friendly! We miss it already!! Cant wait to go back! Don and Liz were very responsive with any questions we had both before and during the trip. We actually met them which was great! Besides the power going out multiple times ( not the owners fault) the only thing that would have been nice would have been to be made aware of a construction project on the storm water drainage right outside their condo prior to our arrival. We asked them when we arrived and they mentioned it was supposed to be completed last week but there was a delay. It was not fun waking up to jackhammering at 9am multiple days as thats not relaxing. Obviously we understand it had to get done but would have been nice to be told prior to arrival and we still would have stayed. Other than that we had a fantastic time and would stay again!

Beautiful Island and this was the perfect home to enjoy all of it!!

My family and I stayed in this condo during our visit to St. Croix. First of all, what a great island! There are so many unique things to do...so many beautiful beaches and the people are so friendly on this island. You don't get that everywhere. Some of our favorites where Snugglers Cove, Rainbow Beach and The Buccaneer. These all have great beaches for swimming along with fun beach bar/restaurants so you can easily spend the day there. Now onto the condo...this was truly one of the nicest rental condo's that I have ever stayed at. You can tell that the owners treat this more as a second home than as a rental property...it has everything you could possibly need while you are there! The bathrooms are very nice, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked! There were little personal touches everywhere in this condo. And we loved being on the third floor. It gave us an extra sense of security with leaving the doors open at night to enjoy the island breeze! The complex was also very nice...parking very close to the stairs and the condo itself is not a far walk at all to the pool or beach. You can take nice walks along the beach without getting in the car and there are two restaurants on either side of the property if you want to grab lunch, dinner or a drink without driving anywhere. I would recommend this island and this condo to anyone planning a getaway!

Beautiful Condo

The condo was beautifully decorated with a beach theme and was up to date. The furniture was comfortable. The porch was very nice and spacious with a good view. It is a gated community with a nice security guard and everyone was friendly. We felt safe there. We loved being able to cook and do laundry, which felt like being at home. The condo included dishes, silverware, pans and everything needed. We did not use the pool area. However it looked nice and had 2 grills. There is a great restaurant at the condo next door which has a nice atmosphere. It is reasonably priced overall. We enjoyed eating there. The location is close to downtown Christianstead and the boardwalk. It is not too far from The Buccaneer which has an amazing beach. The owner Liz was wonderful and was available to help and made us feel comfortable. Our flight was late and she let us check out late at no additional charge. I highly recommend this condo and was very pleased.

Best view in the complex.

This was, in our opinion, the absolute best view in the complex. Ocean-front, pool-side, third floor views (no bars on the terrace) and gated. Excellent! We had some sargassum grass to deal with during this time of year, but what a beautiful place a d location. Thank you!

Great views, central location and superb communication

We enjoyed our stay. Couldnt ask for better views. The balcony was amazing! Location of this property was great - groceey stores less than 5 minutes away boardwalk within 15 minutes, and and short drives to every beach we went to (Rainbow beach, Cane Bay, Dorsch, Ha' Penny). Communication from Liz and Don was prompt and thorough. They offered mny suggestions and hit the nail on the head for everyone. This was our first trip to St Croix but definitely wont be our last. Week in paradise

My family had a great time in St Croix. This condo was much bigger than I expected. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked. Our favorite place was on the back balcony with a constant breeze & view of the water & watching the sail boats every morning. The area was quite & located in the middle so it was easy to travel to all sides. Parking was right out the front door. Everything you would need for day at the beach was a bonus. Liz was excellent with communication before & during our stay.

First time in St. Croix

We stayed in the condo in May and had a great stay. The owners are extremely easy to work with and provided great information and sightseeing options before we arrived. The condo is very clean and very well stocked. The snorkel gear and Igloo cooler were great no-cost extras that made our stay even better. The condo is right on the beach, has a great pool, two common-use but very clean propane grills, and is an easy drive to anywhere on the island (less than 10 minutes to Christiansted). Beds were comfy and we will definitely be back. Only downside on this side of the island in the summer is seaweed, but the condo makes a great base to a ton of other great snorkel spots.

Great location

We enjoyed Flip Flop. There were only 2 of us but had another bedroom if someone else wanted to come. The condo is a good size. We really enjoyed the balcony which many others commented about. It was huge with ample seating and had great views of the pool and water. We loved the fireworks on New Years Eve and didn’t need to leave the balcony. The pool was great and we met many nice people. The proximity to grocery stores and Christiansted was a plus. Liz was great to work with and we could contact at any time.

Jenny, thank you for the kind words. Spending the holidays on St. Croix can take a little getting used to, but it sounds like you enjoyed it! We love the friendly people on the island, as well as meeting new guests and owners around the pool. Our balcony is our favorite place to be, and the view is great! Thanks for staying at our place.

Beautiful view and convenient location for exploring the island!

We were in unit 306C which has an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. The unit is nicely appointed and is roomy. The balcony is terrific with several chairs and a high top dining table for 4. The unit is a few minutes drive from Christiansted and an easy drive to Frederiksted, north shore beaches, Salt River, and more. The property has 2 new gas grills for guest use at the pool. Property staff clean the grills everyday. Don and Liz are very responsive hosts and provide a ton of visitor information if this is your first visit to St. Croix. We had an AC problem, and Liz made sure it was replaced the very next day. They also were accommodating in our request for a late check out.

We always wanted a get-away place with warm blue water and fun leisure activities. We started visiting St. Croix and fell in love with the people and places. We bought our condo while we were still working, and now that we are retired, we love spending even more time here.

The best part of this condo, is that I can be in my pajamas, and within 5 minutes, I can be snorkeling in the ocean right out front! The view from our balcony is spectacular!

On the third floor, we always have a nice breeze flowing through our condo. Sliding glass doors in the master suite open onto the balcony and I fall asleep and wake up listening to the ocean waves. We own a second condo in the complex. and can arrange for you to accommodate more friends and family.
