The condo was beautiful. The location is amazing! You have everything the resort offers within a few minutes walk! Disney is a quick easy drive and there is plenty of options for restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Excellent communication with the owners they answered questions quickly and thoroughly and went above and beyond with information!

Wonderful Place to Stay!

Our family of 5 just spent Christmas at this condo. We had a wonderful time. It's exactly as advertised. Clean, well equipt, everything in great working order. Central location to all resort amenities, walking distance to pools. Thanks again for having us!

Other than having to climb 3 flights (our knees!!) it was great. Condo was well stocked with kitchen supplies, games, towels etc

Excellent stay

Condo just as advertised, very clean, and in a great location next to our favorite pool. We have come to Bahama Bay for the last 15 years and have stayed in many units in this one was excellent as well as other reviewers have stated. My only thing I would like to see is a king bed master. So used to a king at home that we were hitting each other in the middle of the night! Anyway, thanks very much for the use of your condo.

Clean comfortable condo

Then condo was as described by the owners. Location was ideal for us as we had stayed in the complex before. It feels very safe and secure. Pools are very clean didn’t use the clubhouse. The grounds are kept in good condition as well. Instructions for use of the tv would have been good but after e mails sorted it out. No tea towels for drying dishes could we find. Superb washer and dryer Idea base for the 2 of us

A nice place, convenient to restaurants and entertainment. We started a little off because there was a lockbox on the thermostat? We did not realize until late in the night that we could not get to it to turn on the heat. The outside temperature dropped to 40 degrees so it was rather uncomfortable in the condo. The owners were not able to get it remedied until late the following evening. I would definitely check for this if we visit again so it is not a problem. We stayed on the 3rd floor so I would agree with a previous guest that it can be challenging for seniors because there is not an elevator. While there may be other units available on lower floors, there was not one for the dates we needed. We would stay again as well but on a lower level.

Guest should definately not rent the 3rd floor units if they have mobility issues as there are not elevators on the resort. The plus side, however, is that the 3rd floor units are definately the quietest, there being no neighbors above you. Guests are always given a welcome email with important check-in information and important information for their stay. this includes phone numbers for maintenance , the owners, and who to call if they would like the thermostat adjusted or have any other issues. Maintenance is always on the premises and can respond within minutes to within the hour. Thermostat control is very important due to the Florida climate. Turning the thermostat too low can cause permanent damage to the air conditioner units. For this reason the thermostats are set at a neutral temperature, ceiling fans are also available and maintenance can be called to make any adjustments in case of unusual weather. We always invite our guests to call us on our personal phones for any problems. This gives our guests a personal edge. Incidentally once we were informed of the problem, maintenance was contacted and was able to respond within minutes after admittedly going first to the wrong unit! Once we received call that they had not yet arrived, they went to the correct unit within 5 minutes of being made aware of their mistake. Oops! ....Again always feel free to call us, the private owners (not the front desk) right away for any problems.

WOW Best property in Bahama Bay

When we first arrived in the unit on Feb 1st, we were very happy with unit. I emailed the owner "All I can say is "WOW". The condo is more than we could have asked . All the new stuff and carpet is great." The little things in the unit really added to our visit. Besides being renovated with new carpets, the kitchen items were new (napkins, utensils, even scotch tape). There is even an automatic air freshener! All the tv's were new flat screen and large. A consideration is that the unit is on the third floor. That makes it quiet but is forty (40) steps up the stairs. The building location is perfect with a view of the Clubhouse from across the large pond. It was wonderful to watch the birds. The building (21) was between the two main pools making it an easy walk to either pool. The nature walk goes behind the unit which is nice for daily exercise. I had friends who were staying in the next building. There unit was larger, cost less, BUT had all kinds of problems including bed bugs! All our friends said ours was the best! We took a two week "vacation" and returned mid-March. When we opened the door, it was like we were returning home. During the two weeks of Spring break and baseball tournaments (the teams stayed at Bahama Bay), it was still fairly quiet. The bedroom even had a nighttime white noise unit. Really neat! Thank you Candice for a great stay.

Bahama Bay Resort Owner Jerome Kennedy

Our stay at this condon turned out to be a nightmare. First of all once we arrived we were given the key by the front desk of Bahama Bay Resort and Spa staff, (who I must add were very kind and helpful to us during our stay). Once we arrived at the condo (which was on 3rd floor) we opened up the door only to find there was another family staying there, they weren't physically in the condo at the time but all of their personal belongings were there. I was shocked to realized that this could happen and felt very uncomfortable knowing this very incident could happen to us as well. I contacted Jerome and he was very quick to place the blame on the staff at the resort and told us we could use his ground floor condo while we had to wait two days for the family in the 3rd floor condo (the one we originally booked) to vacate. The condo on ground level was filthy and smelled. The couch, carpets and cloth chairs were stained and dirty. Two days later once we arrived at the 3rd floor condo it was no better than the one we had just left. Carpets were stained, couches were dirthy and the chairs were the same. This whole experience was very dissapointing, before we left our home to go to the resort, the owners were very good in communicating to us, but once we got there and had problems communications wasn't good at all. I would not recommend either of those condos to anyone until the carpets, couches and chairs are replaced. I didn't book this condo expecting it to be clean as my own home but I did expect it to be livable. One review I noticed on the website that the 3rd floor condo was referred to as a penthouse, it was far from that, and I hope other guest don't get fooled the way my family and I did. I am not a complainer but I did feel to express my concerns as I would feel bad for other guest who would rent those condos expecting to find them in good living conditions.

Dear Polly I was puzzled and chagrined to hear these complaints a week after your 2 week stay at our condo. You have expressed that the Wyndham Bahama Bay staff made a mistake and gave another guest your condo by mistake. They admitted their mistake both to you and to us. We immediately sought to rectify their admitted mistake by rallying our cleaning staff and everyone we could (at our expense) to place you in our other condo of the same design. They, however, offered nothing to rectify their mistake. I am also puzzled that our condo's which were previously highly rated before and after your stay suddenly developed these filthy conditions that, despite our many conversations, apparently escaped your attention during your 2 weeks of stay. I do distinctly recall a subtle hint of forthcoming consequences if certain conditions were not met. Perhaps it was here when the communications became sub par and also here that the enhanced recall of the filthy conditions of both condos occured. This confusion sometimes occurs over time. However, I would like to assure you and future guests that the condos apparantly have been magically restored. The guest who arrived the next day upon your departure from the first floor condo gave the condo a 5 star rating. What a MIRACLE!

As advertised, great communication, great location on grounds

We had a great stay at this condo in Bahama Bay Resort. We like this resort because it used to be on the quieter side of town. Unfortunately, not any longer. There's more neighborhoods built up and now there's a school right across from entrance that delays getting out of property during school morning and afternoon rush. Not a deal breaker, but the lure of this resort was it's ease of getting everywhere easy and reasonably quickly. Within the resort, this condo is situated in Building 21, a great location right between the resort's two larger pools, one with Tradewind's Restaurant and Bar. Can't get a better location. We wish the resort would trim or replace the trees in front of the pond view buildings though. What's the sense of "pond view" when the trees are grown in and up and blocking the view completely. As for the condo, it was in reasonably good repair, clean, and the appliances were in working order (w/ exception), actually really new washer/dryer combo. Plenty of utensils and pots and pans. All furniture was in reasonably good shape, especially the living room. There were a few "nuances" that I'd like to mention. Certainly NOT deal breakers, but the exhaust fan in master bathroom was annoyingly loud, the ice maker wasn't working (there was an ice tray to manually make), and the security code was annoyingly long (10 digits!). Be aware there's a queen bed in the master bedroom as well, we missed this in the listing, no biggie. We've stayed at two other condo's in this complex and they each had a king size in their masters. There's certainly enough room for one. We didn't feel the need to call Candice as these were not nuisances and just want to mention so they might get taken care of. Speaking of Candice, very good communication, answered all my questions in a very timely fashion, usually in a few hours. Check-in was a breeze, direct to unit after showing guard "check-in e-mail", parking placards were in condo, instructions were clear and concise and all contact info for any issues during stay was there in the e-mail. Never felt like I was on an island renting privately. We would absolutely rent this condo again. None of our "nuances" were deal breakers.

Beautiful spacious condo!

This condo and resort are beautiful!!! The bedrooms are spacious and the rates very reasonable. Close to attractions or nice to simply stay on the property! The condo was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely book again.
