Pure nature vacation home in Normandy

We rent out our child- and pet-friendly family country house in the countryside, at F-27260 in Bailleul-la-Vallée, about 600 km from Cologne.
Here, you can enjoy plenty of fresh air with family or friends, whether you’re looking for an active getaway or a relaxing break. Hikes on foot, bike rides, or jogging routes through fields and forests start right at our doorstep. There’s plenty to discover in terms of local cuisine—whether it’s milk straight from the barn, Calvados from the distillery, or a wide variety of cheeses, and so much more… we’re happy to help you explore it all. The nearest shopping and dining options are in Cormeilles, 6 km away.
The coast—with swimming beaches and children’s activities, natural beaches where everyone (not just the dogs) can run wild, and charming harbor towns with fish markets—is about a 35-minute drive away. Right nearby, you can go fishing, horseback riding (even for toddlers), or simply feed our goats and sheep.
There’s no shortage of cultural attractions either—trips to Lisieux to visit the Basilica of Saint Thérèse, Honfleur, Deauville/Trouville-sur-Mer, Pont-Audemer, Étretat, or other hidden gems are not too far away.
The house is very child-friendly, and there’s even a spot for your dog’s blanket.
You’ll find all the amenities for a relaxing stay for young and old alike in the 120 m² of living space:
• A fully equipped kitchen:
– coffee makers for ground coffee or Tchibo pods, toaster, electric kettle, blender, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, oven, fondue set, raclette set, and grill plate
• 2 bathrooms:
- a bathroom with a tub and separate toilet on the first floor and a bathroom with a shower on the upper floor; hair dryer provided
• Washing machine, dryer, and ironing board in the basement
• 4 bedrooms
- 2 bedrooms have 1.60-meter double beds with single comforters, 1 bedroom has a 1.60-meter double bed, single comforters, and a crib, and 1 bedroom has two single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m); all bedrooms have a separate entrance
• Complete baby equipment available
• The living room features a large dining table for 8 people plus a high chair and a cozy TV nook
- Internet-enabled Samsung TV with German channels and series, as well as a Teufel radio
- Excellent Wi-Fi, also ideal for working from home
- DVD player and PlayStation 4 with karaoke function
To make sure you don’t get bored amid all the relaxation, we offer plenty of board games, DVDs, and books for all ages, as well as a game station for kids featuring table soccer, hockey, and billiards.
In the basement, there’s a high-quality ping-pong table, a cross-trainer, and darts for hosting all kinds of tournaments.
In the garden, there’s a barbecue area with plenty of seating to enjoy your delicious grilled meals, as well as sun loungers. For the kids, we have a playhouse with a slide and a sandbox, and for both two- and four-legged friends, there’s plenty of space to run around on our fenced-in 2,000 m² lot—whether chasing a ball or playing bocce or badminton.
You don’t have to worry about secure parking here, nor do you need to worry about finding a place to park your high-quality bicycles or motorcycles.
