That sounds like a wonderful vacation! An idyllically located vacation rental right on the Fulda River, 7 km from the A7, definitely offers the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy nature.
Here you’ll find fresh air, moments of relaxation, and a genuine connection to the countryside.
The vacation rental is located on the first floor of a two-family home with a separate entrance and was completely renovated between 2024 and 2025.
Spanning just under 80 m², the apartment features a spacious living and dining area, a bedroom with a 180 x 200 cm box-spring bed, an additional sleeping area (120×200 cm) in an open-concept room, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a modern, comfortable bathroom. A large balcony facing southwest rounds out the amenities.
Here you can enjoy the view of the river while having a leisurely breakfast.
We provide bed linens and towels.
Due to its hillside location, access to the apartment is not wheelchair-accessible. The apartment itself is on level ground.
Take advantage of the surrounding area for relaxing walks, hikes, or bike rides.
The small, idyllic village of Spiekershausen is located just about a 15-minute drive from downtown Kassel or 25 minutes by bike.
(You’re welcome to store your e-bikes safely and dryly here with us.)
It’s an ideal starting point for many different activities. The village features a restaurant with a beer garden right on the river. Not far from there is a spacious playground.
Our cozy vacation rental is located right next to the Fulda River and is the ideal starting point for nature lovers and active vacationers.
