This was a really great rental. We had a well behaved dog with us and the yard was fantastic! It was appointed better than most rentals and the owner was incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommend!!

Great host, great location and one of the cleanest Vrbo’s we have ever stayed in! The house had everything we needed and more. Huge fenced in yard for our dogs.

House was very well equipped for a nice stay. Toaster, instapot. Great beds, easy parking off the quiet street, close to good shopping, excellent cool A/C in the hot summer. The back yard is very nice, but hard for our toddler to use back door. Host communicated regularly and clearly. Neighbors are quiet too. Nine nights.We enjoyed our stay and would again.

We loved staying at this beautiful home. I love the decor and how comfortable the beds and home is. The labeled kitchen cabinets made it easy to find what you need and put back. The backyard is huge. I loved having my morning coffee on the patio. It was quick to get to everywhere we wanted to go. Silverwood was a fun day adventure. There is a beautiful park within walking distance with a swimming pool that we took the kids and dog to. Communication was great. Will definitely stay here again.

Great back yard

Enjoy our stay and watching our dog lounge in the fenced back yard. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms clean and comfortable.

Wonderful Stay, has everything one may need.

This house is bright, spacious, and clean. Each room was comfortable and well appointed. Every need has been anticipated and provided for. Quick response from the host and perfectly located for what we had planned. Wonderful stay.

Pleasantly Suprised!

All the furnishings have been updated since they posted the current pictures (which surprised me when I walked in). The house is great and a nice big space. The yard is also huge and a great bonus. It was very clean and well taken care of! Great place to stay which I highly recommend!

Our stay at Songbird Cottage

What an enjoyable time for our family at Songbird Cottage! Very reasonable in price, quiet neighborhood, very clean and comfortable home!... really enjoyed the birds singing in the backyard!... loved the patio and fenced in backyard!....all our questions and needs were answered before and during our stay!.... very fun memory for our family .....

Girls shopping trip

A girlfriends shopping trip was made even more enjoyable by staying at SongBird Cottage. The house was clean, well equiped and in a great location. There was plenty of space and very comfortable. The owner was very easy to contact and responded quickly to questions etc. The only drawback, was the lack of a bathroom in the basement area. We will definetly stay there again.

The house fit our needs for a home base . The little ones did really enjoy the back yard it was a safe place to play. The kitchen remodel was very nice the stove was really nice. Our only complaint was the wifi it was not guest useable, we had a couple of people who had to go find wifi for things to handle at their jobs. The location is great

Perfect Solution!

Our family rented Songbird Cottage for a special weekend in Spokane. Loved the location, the mid century neighborhood, and the layout of the house and yard. The house offered a comfortable atmosphere to gather, enjoy time together and feel at home. Every bed was used and everyone was very comfortable. We found the kitchen cozy and adequate. The office was a great space for those that needed to check in with work. The living room provided enough seating and comfort for us to talk and relax. The one bath/shower caused a little scheduling dance but it all worked out. We so enjoyed this house over staying in multiple hotel rooms. The owner was very prompt and helpful with questions. I took several long walks around the area and really appreciated the mid century houses. We would love to stay here again, especially to enjoy the beautiful back yard in the fall. Highly recommend this location.

I love this neighborhood too! There's something about mid-century homes/neighborhoods that are cheerful and comforting. Makes me glad you were able to walk around this super safe neighborhood and enjoy its essence.

Excellent Service and Lovely Home!

A few classmates and I were back in town (after rotations) for a week to graduate from WSU College of Pharmacy. We decided to rent a home so that we could have a central place to share some good times before going our separate ways. Katrina, the owner of this vacation home, blew us away. We were greeted with a complimentary champagne bottle, and she furnished each room with chocolate bars that were specially printed with her contact information just to make sure we were well taken care of! I am no stranger to renting from VRBO or HomeAway - I've probably rented from about a dozen properties in the past, so it really means something when I say that the attention to detail here was well above my expectations. Thank you Katrina for helping make our graduation week memorable. For those considering renting this property, the new pictures don't really do the place justice. There is a very large back yard with a huge patio set and a propane bbq. The "master" bedroom is actually the basement that has been renovated into a nice game room and master bedroom, with large walkin closet. If you are looking for a cozy place to call home while you are in the area, it doesn't get any better than this.

We had a great time for Hoopfest. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and the layout was perfect. The only thing I would suggest is the barbeque needs a little love and cleaning and the refrigerator needs something to keep it in place. Otherwise a great stay!! We loved all the dishes and a fully stocked kitchen which allowed us to cook instead of eating out with 4 boys.Thank you!

Lovely property

Very lovely property both inside and with the beautiful back patio and yard. The layout of the home was spacious and so nicely decorated. OMG the beds were Amazingly comfortable. Nice quiet neighborhood with a park within walking distance which is nice when traveling with a dog as we were. We had the occasion to meet and visit with the owner who is such a kind person. We very much enjoyed talking with her. Would highly recommend staying at this property.

Great location for a family!

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying here while we were in town visiting colleges. It's in a great location to get anywhere you want to around town with ease. The house was very clean and Kat was a top notch host! It got a little hot in the while we were here, so Kat came through with some extra cooling options for us to use. We really appreciated that extra service and highly recommend this place.

Perfect stay

From check in to check out, everything was perfect. A full equipped kitchen as advertised. There have been so many "fully equipped kitchens" we have stayed at, but have next to nothing. This truly had everything we could have needed and more. It made meal times a lot easier and no stress. We had such a good time staying here. It was a good place to relax after a day of visiting our family or being out exploring the outdoors. Thank you!

Great Family Space

Nice cozy stay

Great property in a convenient Spokane Valley location. Clean and tidy you will have all that is needed for your stay. Backyard is great for pet owners and allows you to bring your animals with. Highly recommend this great property. Never stay at a hotel again.

Great backyard and so well stocked!

We had a graduation party with family here and it was perfect! The fenced backyard (equipped with a beautiful grill) was fantastic with plenty of space for kids to run and dogs to play. We loved the covered patio and there was plentiful outdoor seating. The house had two private bedrooms (with ceiling fans) and a third sleeping space on the way to the backyard. The living room had comfy couches and again space for everyone. The kitchen was superbly stocked with everything you would need for a party and/or for a family (including kids’ dishes!). All the appliances (including a waffle maker and blender) were so convenient and well-maintained. There was a park (with a community pool) nearby and the neighborhood was cute and walkable. Kat was incredibly responsive and so helpful! Having young kids, we greatly appreciated the checkout process as well. I highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay there again!
