Overall, EXCELLENT stay for a big group of friends visiting the Louisville area! The host was very receptive and helpful, provided pointers on the house, and asked us if we needed anything. The home was very spacious, the kitchen was large and well stocked, could not ask for anything more to prep meals for our large group. Absolutely loved the patio area! Accommodations and proximity to downtown Louisville were perfect! Will definitely stay here again! 5 stars !!!!

Beautiful home and much grander than the pictures. Beds and accommodations were very comfortable. Our family from 79 to 7 would stay there again.

Gorgeous home in beautiful location. The pool was the bonus to all! We were 3 generation family from grandparents to grandkids and it was perfect!Exceptional from first communication until check out. Lots of room for inside and outside visiting and meals. This house is outstanding!

The property was fabulous as was our hodts Lisa and Keith. They met us at the property when we arrived and were available the entire time. The property was incredible! The house is spacious and the kitcen/bar was well stocked with glasses, plates pots and ans and utencils. There are several icemakers which were handy. The house allowed our large party to move around and enjoy different activities. The deer came to greet us in the yard and put on a great display of bucks dueling for the ladies. The trip was fantastic due in large part to our hosts and this exquisite property. Highly recommend it!

Accommodations were great. We had a family vacation and enjoyed the pool. Property is near the interstate; easy to get to, some traffic noise. Close to local parks, Kentucky Kingdom, and downtown. Hosts quickly respond to simple questions/ concerns. Overall a wonderful experience.

Stonecote was a fabulous house for a group of 9 senior women. Keith met us on site for a welcoming introduction. The grounds and home made us feel like queens on a historical plantation complete with rocking chairs on the porch. The large well stocked kitchen with many appliances, spices/condiments and cookware was much appreciated with all the chefs rotating around the beautiful marble counters. We also loved the classy dining room. Our favorite gathering place was the sunroom for our games and even a fashion show.....We liked the the proximity of the house to downtown Louisville where we did a historical walking tour, Slugger Museum, Churchill Downs and nightlife on Main Street....Lisa was delightful as my communication person and helpful with suggestions. We will be bragging about our Stonecote stay for months!

The property is beautiful with a perfect balance of historic and modern. The large living room, family room, and dining room were perfect for spending time together with our group of 14. The pool was amazing! Very large and has lighting for night swims. The pool house patio had plenty of seating and outdoor fans in the covered area. The neighborhood was excellent. High end, safe, and only about 10 minutes to downtown. The owners were great communicators and available as needed. Great for a family vacation!

Outstanding hosts! Outstanding experience. We gathered for a sibling vacation and had a wonderful time. The accommodations were so comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond providing amenities like shampoo, body wash, dishwashing soap, pool towels, and so, so much more. The hosts were immediately responsive to our questions and answered promptly. Our family has decided we need look no further to find a location for our annual vacation. The pool was fabulous and we spent hours laughing and enjoying the time spent at the pool. There were eleven of us and we were very comfortable. Oh, and the dining table accommodated all of us comfortably. Loved it and will be booking again. Thank you L & K!

This area and home is in such a beautiful part of Louisville. Our stay was so memorable. The home is big enough for our 14 people. Marble kitchen counters, and any glassware or serving platters you could dreaam of! The pool was absolutely amazing for all ages(2-73). There is a separated pool for the littles. Parks to run and walk in nearby!

We were in Louisville for a special family event. We rented this house rather than getting everyone hotel rooms so we could all be together the whole time, and it did not disappoint! We used every bedroom and each one was beautifully furnished, spacious, and so comfortable, with plenty of closet and drawer space. The restrooms were also spacious, and were clean, stocked with very nice shower products. There were plenty of tubs for the kids in our group, but they all wanted to use the cool claw-foot tub in the main bedroom! The kitchen was high end and huge (big enough for all of us to do the everyone stands on the kitchen to talk thing)! Two large ovens, two refrigerators an extra ice maker, a giant island we used to serve meals from, and a nice eating area. We also used the large dining room and table with seating for 12-14 people! The cozy, welcoming sunroom was the central hang out! We had four kids - 1, 3, 4, and 10 years old. There was plenty indoor space for games and the little ones loved running laps around "the circle" on the main floor! We just missed pool season, but will absolutely return for a stay when it's open. We did have a couple staying in the pool house, which also had a great kitchen & family room. We give this property 28 thumbs up! Owners maintain historical feel and it is nicely kept inside and outside! We saw so many deer, including huge bucks, a coyote, birds, etc. Indoor & outdoor seating and hangout space galore! Fantastic, convenient location!

Awesome house with tons of character. Hosts were amazing - met us to walk us through the house and then said reach out if we need anything. Our friends loved hanging in the kitchen and great room and with plenty of beds and bedrooms for our group!

This was the perfect spot for our family gathering! The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The owners were great—very responsive and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would definitely come back again!

5 Stars – Beautiful, Historic, and Perfectly Located!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic home. It was spacious and very accommodating for our group, with thoughtful touches that made everyone feel comfortable. The location was absolutely fantastic—just minutes from everything, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a unique, convenient, and welcoming place to stay!

The house is amazing! We had 4 couples and it worked so well. The host was very kind and helpful, we had no issues. It was a wonderful vacation and would love to stay there again! The kitchen was very large with a great island and bar area attached for all us to hang out and a great gathering room attached that we all could lounge around in. Deer wondered the property…a beautiful safe area!

I could not recommend staying here more. We had a group of 8 and we all had more than enough room. The house is great, the pool house is great, everything was clean and the hosts walked us through the house to explain everything given the size which was really helpful. The hosts were awesome. Also the pool is really really nice if you come when it is open. The neighborhood is really nice and location convenient.

50th Anniversary Trip

This house was everything we were looking for and more. It was the perfect location to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. The pool, the house, the grounds...everything was exactly what we needed for our large group!
