The spacious living area, with panoramic ocean views, is located on the upper floor and features a large, fully equipped kitchen, a wood-burning stove, and a cozy sofa and TV area. The long dining table, which forms the centerpiece of the living area, offers not only the perfect setting for dining with friends and family, but also for game nights and long conversations. Enjoy time together here while taking in the view of the Flensburg Fjord. From here, you can also access the elevated terrace with lounge furniture and a stunning view of the Baltic Sea. The terraces surrounding the house offer space for every time of day. On the large south-facing terrace on the first floor, our guests can relax at the dining table and enjoy a barbecue (charcoal kettle grill).
In the kitchen, you’ll find a classic Moccamaster drip coffee maker (size 4 filter bags)—perfect for a cozy start to the day. In addition, you’ll find, among other things, a dishwasher, a glass-ceramic stove with an exhaust hood, an oven, a toaster, a KitchenAid stand mixer, a Ninja ice cream maker, and a stylish SMEG refrigerator.
Inside the house, an open loft above the living area and kitchen offers space for a “workation” or a cozy lunch break with a sea view on an extra bed (2 mattresses, 90 x 200 cm).
On the first floor are the two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed and access to the terrace. The mattress in the blue bedroom measures 140 x 200 cm, and the one in the pink bedroom measures 160 x 200 cm. Also on the first floor is the unique bathroom with a cast-iron bathtub and a glass-and-stone shower—a real eye-catcher. The bathroom and bedrooms are located across from each other and are equipped with stylish wooden sliding doors (Note: the walls are thin).
The choice is yours: We offer you the option to bring your own linens to help keep your vacation costs down. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide our linen package (bed linens and towels) as an optional service—whichever best suits your travel plans.
The modern garden sauna with a panoramic window and outdoor shower rounds out the property’s amenities and offers private moments of relaxation in every season.
The beach is just a few meters away on foot—Bockholm is a small, idyllic vacation spot on the beautiful Holnis Peninsula, right on the Flensburg Fjord.
You can charge your electric car here for free using the wallbox.
Dear dog lovers: Dogs are very welcome! However, we charge an additional fee for their stay and cleaning. The garden is not completely fenced in. Dogs are welcome year-round on Bockholm Beach—on a leash.
In the town of Glücksburg, a visitor’s tax is collected from guests, which directly supports the maintenance and upkeep of the beaches, trails, and tourist attractions. During the high season, from April 1 through September 30 and from December 22 through 31, the fee is 3.00 euros per day; and 1.50 euros per day during the off-season, from January 1 through March 31 and from October 1 through December 21. We will bill you for the visitor’s cards as part of the booking process, and they will be waiting for you at your accommodation upon arrival.
