Når du kommer ind i den historiske La Quinta Cove, hvor den første golfbane i hele Palm Springs-området blev bygget tilbage i 30'erne, får du et glimt af de majestætiske Santa Rosa-bjerge, der omgiver Cove. Når du nærmer dig din egen ørkenoase med frodige kaktuslandskaber bliver udsigten til bjergene betagende, fordi du er så tæt på dem. Derefter går du ind i porten til din egen private udvej med en fuldstændig indhegnet gårdsplads og gårdhave. Du bemærker den nybyggede saltvandspool med et beroligende vandfald og en grillplads. Skip and Monica‘s property was just as listed! The check-in process was super easy and Skip and Monica were very easy to communicate with. We love the fact that the home was stocked with toiletries, laundry detergent, soap, shampoo, paper towels, spices, and all the essentials. All of the furniture and the beds were super comfy, and there were plenty of pillows, sheets, and towels. We loved the pool and hot tub area with the amazing view of the mountains surrounding us! We were out there every day - morning, noon and night! I walked the Bear Cove Trail daily, and the views never got old. Old town La Quinta is so quaint with so many amazing restaurants and stores. The people in La Quinta are super friendly and the city is so clean. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay Skip and Monica!

We had a great stay in La Quinta. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The furniture was very comfortable especially the beds. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and did not need to purchase any extra heating. We loved the walking path adjacent to the neighborhood. It is especially useful if you are bringing a dog. If we come back to La Quinta, we would definitely stay here again.

What a great getaway! The home was clean and comfortable with all the amenities (loved the air fryer oven!) Hosts were easy to communicate with. The pool was perfect - with some fun floats to enjoy on the wonderful weather days we had. We enjoyed riding the bikes and walking nearby trails. Hope to revisit this site in the future.

La Quinta is a nice little town and the Cove a very tranquil and quiet neighborhood. The house is neat and big enough for 2-4 people. Loved the mountain views from the backyard.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in our vacation home which is tucked in a cute neighborhood with your own private space. This area is the gem of the desert. La Quinta has amazing restaurants and boutique the village is surrounded by mountain views. There is hiking too. We appreciate your great review.

Nice Cottage for friends and family time!

Walking distance to restaurants and hiking. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and walking paths. Hosts were very responsive.

Skip, a retired Vice President of Commercial Lending, dedicates his full time to managing their 4 vacation rentals and long-term properties in California and Texas. Monica is a former Dental Hygienist and Dental Practice owner. She has embarked on a new career path and discovered a newfound passion for design, art, and decor in our vacation homes. With her expert eye for detail and creativity, she is dedicated to making each home as beautiful and welcoming as possible for our guests. We can't wait for you to experience the unique touches she adds to our properties.

Together, they strive to create unforgettable experiences for their guests. Their love for hospitality is reflected in the little details in their homes and their friendly, approachable demeanor. With the help of professional cleaners and Monica as dedicated hospitality manager, they ensure that their properties are always in top condition, providing their guests with ease and comfort during their stay.

In their free time, Skip and Monica love to explore the great outdoors. They take daily walks on the beach near their home in Huntington Beach, and when they're not working on their vacation homes, they enjoy hiking, rollerblading, and riding their electric beach cruisers. Our property is the perfect location for nature enthusiasts, situated near the stunning Santa Rosa Mountains. Just two blocks away, you'll find the hiking path leading to Fred Wolff Nature Preserve, Bear Creek Trailhead, and the Bear Creek Oasis Trail. For foodies, OldTown village is a short biking distance away, offering a variety of world-class restaurants. Come experience the best of both worlds - nature and cuisine - during your stay with us.

Exploring OldTown is easy and convenient from our location, only a 15-20 minute walk away. Simply head left from the street in front of the house and walk a block and a half to the hiking path. Turn right on the hiking path, and it will lead you straight to OldTown. Plus, the SunBus stop is just a block away for additional transportation options. Enjoy all that OldTown has to offer with ease during your stay with us.

We have wonderful neighbors and we kindly ask our guests to show them respect during their stay. To comply with the city's mandate, we ask that there be no amplified music outside on the patio. The cutoff time for noise on the patio is 10PM, after which we request that guests move inside the house to keep noise levels down. Let's work together to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Across the cottage, past the fully equipped kitchen, the Golf Room and the Cactus Room await, offering privacy and serenity, sharing a convenient full bath.
