This 260-square-meter country house is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the small village of Wietow, between Wismar and Schwerin, on a 3,000-square-meter lot. From here, you can take day trips to Lübeck, Rostock, or to the Baltic Sea—to Rerik or Boltenhagen—as well as to the island of Poel or the lakes of Warin and Neukloster. An electric car can be charged right in the village at the solar center; alternatively, guests can enjoy the nature and tranquility on-site or along the biking and hiking trails in the heart of Mecklenburg.
The house has been extensively renovated using natural building materials and a modern heat pump heating system (with underfloor heating on the upper floor). On the first floor, the heat pump can also be used as an air conditioner in the summer.
The property has 5 bedrooms for a total of 12 people, extra bedding for 3–4 people, 3 bathrooms, a large dining room with a fireplace, and a cozy living room.
The rooms on the first floor can be completely darkened using (partly electric) roller shutters. On the south side, the windows in the bedrooms (including those in the attic) are additionally fitted with sun-reflective pleated blinds.
The kitchen is fully equipped and offers ample space with 2 refrigerators (including freezer compartments) and a
separate beverage refrigerator in the summer kitchen.
For leisure activities, there is an activity room with a Wii, fitness equipment, foosball/mini-pool table, various board games, a dollhouse, children’s toys, and a reading corner.
For relaxation, there is a spa area with an outdoor pool (heated from May through September), a sauna, and a hot tub.
Outside, there is a large covered patio with a gas grill, a children’s playground, a trampoline, and a ping-pong table. The large property is planted with trees and shrubs (apples, pears, plums, nuts, currants, blackberries, raspberries, ...). Feel free to snack on the fruit. The owner’s chickens tend to the orchard, so you don’t have to worry about them. To round off the evening, there’s a fire pit with an optional swivel grill.

Pets are allowed on the first floor; smoking is permitted only outdoors.
