Renovated in 2020, this stylishly furnished vacation home is located about 6 km from the pristine sandy beach of Sint Maartenszee. Situated in a prime location within a quiet, modernized vacation park featuring an outdoor pool, a playground, and a bistro with a bread roll service, there’s something for everyone. Our home’s lovingly landscaped, secluded garden—facing southwest and featuring patio seating—invites you to relax and unwind in a healing climate. The house has been stylishly, timelessly, and modernly furnished with all the amenities.
We place great importance on hygiene and, out of consideration for our guests with allergies, are a pet-free and, of course, smoke-free accommodation!
On the first floor, you’ll find the coat closet, a shower room with a toilet, a brand-new, well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, induction cooktop, and oven, as well as an open-concept living-dining room with a large dining table, TV, open fireplace, a DAB radio, and direct access to the patio and garden, which feature seating and a sun umbrella.
On the first floor, you’ll find the large master bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and two smaller bedrooms, each with two single beds (90x200). There is also a separate restroom on this floor. All bedrooms are equipped with blinds and blackout curtains to ensure a restful night’s sleep. You’ll also find a travel crib and a high chair here.
*Guests must bring their own bed linens, towels, and table linens.*
In the separate storage room, you’ll find a washing machine, a clothes rack, and a dryer.
We’ve provided a guest information folder in the house with all the details you need about local recreational activities and shopping options.
Your personal parking space is located right next to the house.
The nearest beach, the beautiful town of Schagen—with its weekly market offering plenty of shopping options, a lively variety of dining choices, and the Makado shopping center—can also be easily reached by bike. You’ll always find parking there by car as well.
During the season, the park itself offers bike rentals (regular and e-bikes), as well as breakfast and grocery services. The bistro adjacent to the playground serves light hot meals and delicious cold drinks.
Anglers can catch carp and other fish species in the two ponds (fishing permits are available for a fee at the kiosk).
The surrounding area has a rural character, featuring flower fields, farmland, and sheep pastures, along with an extensive network of bike paths and well-marked hiking and walking trails.
Many beaches (including Sint Maartenszee, Petten, Callantsoog, and Julianadorp) are just a few minutes away by car or bike. Heading toward Den Helder, a special experience awaits you—the Maritime Museum, the dining and cultural scene at the harbor, and the ferry for a day trip to the island of Texel. The IJsselmeer is also less than an hour away. The nearest major city, Alkmaar (known as “Little Amsterdam”), with its large weekly cheese market, shopping district, and cultural attractions, is always worth a visit.
