This makes Lindgren Land an ideal place for families who want to discover the home of Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga and Ronja the Robber’s Daughter while also enjoying a relaxing holiday in the Swedish countryside.

Forests begin directly behind the house and invite you to go for walks, enjoy small discovery tours, and pick berries and mushrooms. The nearest swimming lake can be reached in around two minutes by car and offers excellent opportunities for swimming, fishing or relaxing by the water.

The holiday home offers approximately 85 m² of living space and accommodates up to five guests. From May to September, a separate stuga on the property is also available, increasing the total capacity to up to seven guests. This makes the house suitable both for families and for holidays with friends.

The main house has two cosy bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed measuring 180 × 200 cm, while the second bedroom has two single beds. In addition, the living room has a sofa bed for one further guest. During the summer months, the separate stuga provides two additional sleeping places.

The bright living area invites you to relax with internet TV and a cosy seating area. A fireplace and two traditional Swedish tiled stoves create a warm and comfortable atmosphere, especially on cooler days, and give the house its very special charm.

The fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Here you can prepare meals together and enjoy cosy evenings with the family.

Families with children are also well catered for. Numerous board games and toys provide entertainment, while the large garden offers plenty of space for playing and running around.

A particular highlight is the conservatory overlooking the greenery. Here you can end the day with a cup of coffee or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue also invite you to spend long summer evenings outdoors.

Several bicycles in different sizes are available free of charge during your stay and are ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings around Vimmerby.

The location of Lindgren Land is one of the house’s biggest advantages. Astrid Lindgren’s World is only a few minutes away and is one of Sweden’s most popular family attractions. Astrid Lindgren’s Näs, the birthplace of the famous author, is also well worth visiting.

In addition, numerous swimming lakes, hiking trails and cycling routes invite you to enjoy active holiday days. The centre of Vimmerby, with its cosy cafés, restaurants and small shops, is also within easy reach. Lindgren Land is a non-smoking holiday home. Dogs are welcome on request. Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels can be booked as an optional extra. Electricity consumption is already included. A refundable security deposit of €250 is also required.

Please note: From May to September, the additional stuga can be used, allowing the holiday home to accommodate up to seven guests. From October to April, only the main house is available, and the maximum occupancy is five guests.
