Cannot recommend the Ocean Reef Resort

Awesome Condo

This condo was absolutely perfect. It was in a great location. Very convenient to everything. The condo was very clean and well kept. The views from this condo was amazing. My absolute favorite was the HUGE balcony. We definitely will stay here again and have already told all of our friends about it. While we were there they had a washer delivered and the delivery guys were in and out in no time. The property manager also gave us a courtesy call to let us know that they would be delivering the washer. As we were leaving the condo we ran into the lady that cleans the condo and she was very sweet. Overall A+ on this condo and we can’t wait to book it again! Thank you so much for your hospitality and my family enjoyed it.

It was clean and comfortably furnished. We had a problem with the internet in the beginning but the owner and Ocean Reef staff solved the issue immediately. The staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful! It’s why Ocean Reef is our favorite place to stay! We will definitely rent #1505 again! My only suggestion may be to get a dresser in the 2 nd bedroom, when you are there for an extended visit it would be nice to have a little more drawer space.

Condo was beautiful! Love the balcony and beachfront view! This was our 3rd year at Ocean Reef, staff is friendly and accommodating. Only suggestion may be a dresser in the 2nd bedroom. When you are there for an extended stay (5weeks) it would be nice to be able to unpack clothes and accessories into drawers instead of living out of your suitcase. Otherwise condo and access to owners was great!

July 2023 Stay

Unit 1505 was great, we loved it and had a wonderful state. Our only negative was that one of the elevators was out of service for hour and tower. Stay and were thoroughly pleased with the unit as well as its furnishings. The owners there were beach chairs in the unit that we could take down to the waters, edge and hour cooking included the seasonal beach service. We like both optiI don’t like to be concerned about my beach bag when I’m sitting at the waters edge

Great condo

It included everything needed in kitchen and so much extra for the beach. One friend that came was in a wheelchair and this condo accommodated for her very well. The balcony was very spacious and had a beautiful view! They only bad experience we had was with the guy with the beach chairs that was included. He wasn’t anywhere to b found so we could get the loungers the first day so we had to wait till late afternoon to bring our disabled friend to beach. Then he wouldn’t accommodate at all for room to get her in her lounger so we would have to ask others to allow us to move their chairs till I got her in her lounger chair and situated. If we was to ask a question he would just sit inside the hutch thing and smile while replying with a response that was rude. The actual beach set up was a disaster for us with a disabled friend, but that is not the condo owners fault. So as far as condo, it was a very great place, very clean and accommodating in all ways for us.

Super Condo Well appointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second stay at Ocean Reef and we we very pleased both times. This unit fit our needs very well as we spent a little over two months in this condo. As noted in the title, the unit was very well appointed with all the cooking items you could ever need. Because of the weather in January, we fixed most of our meals in the condo and every pot, pan, dish or utensil was there. We enjoyed the balcony a lot as even when the temps were chilly in Jan-Feb, the sun was on the deck and it was very pleasant to sun bath or eat there.The TV's were a little finicky to operate but we solved that by adding Roku's and then all was well. We had only a couple of maintenance problems and Riley solved them very quickly. The beach setups were very nice in March. Overall the condo was superb for our needs. But I will mention that the master Bedroom bed was very high and difficult to get in. My wife is about medium height and even with a small stool found it difficult to climb into bed. She gave up and moved to the other bed room. Because of all my medical equipment, I stayed using this bed, but found it not comfortable as it was hard in some places and too soft in others. I also rolled off of it twice in the night, but I was not damaged.Overall, I would grade this a 4.0 out of 5.0. But I think the owner might consider replacing the master bed.

Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth stay at Ocean Reef .The owner of Ocean Reef 1505 has two condos.We have stayed in both of them and had a wonderful time.The condos are clean and well equipped and we will try get one of these on our next return to Panama City Beach.The four of us are 73 years old and went to kinder garden together.We especially liked that the condo had two furnished beach chairs and an umbrella .It was great not having to haul lots of gear to the beach.These condos are in a GREAT location .We will be back

The condo was mostly clean, floors were dirty, we arrived wearing shoes and socks and took shoes off and our socks looked dirty after walking around without shoes on. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, that was nice. The master bed mattress was horrible, it sinks in and offers no support. The kitchen trash can and washing machine are both growing mold and stink. If those issues are fixed we will definitely stay there again.

July 2022 Stay

Overall our stay was great! The location was convenient for food, beach, and activities! The condo itself was cute, stocked with plenty of amenities. Salt & Pepper, seasonings, it had both Keurig and coffee pot. Beach chairs, floats, large cooler, and sand toys. Balcony fury was very nice and beautiful view. A few opportunities. The condo was not as clean as I expected. Around bottom of toilet dirty and hair, heavy dust on bathroom lights, sand still on floor with plastic pieces from shirt tags. So not sure the floor was swept. The king bed, needs sheets to fit. Almost every night we’re pulling sheets back because we’d end up on the mattress which freaked me out. Very irritating. I probably won’t stay again just due to my dog is not allowed. Only owner dogs are permitted and I missed my baby.

Beautiful place! Beautiful view!

Great location, very comfortable and clean condo with plenty of space. We loved sitting on the huge balcony and enjoying the view as well as the beach and pool. Host was very responsive. Would stay here again!

The master bed was very comfortable (although a little high, but maybe that's because I'm short-LOL). There was a wagon to help bring our luggage up to the room when we arrived. There were 3 beach chairs and beach toys/floats in the laundry room. I had asked prior to booking if beach service was included, and was told "I think so", however, that wasn't the case. It was an additional $50 per day to rent two chairs and an umbrella on the beach.Pros: spacious, good location, the view, convenientCons: no beach service included with the condo like others do.

September 2021 Stay

We have used Greta’s for all our recent trips. Wonder service prior and during our stay. Ocean reef 1505 was just as described and in the pictures. It has everything needed. The balcony is furnished for morning breakfast and coffee to evening meals. The beach service and parking spot are extra perks. This unit has rails in the shower for safety and ease of exiting shower. Thank you for that amenity. I will definitely rent this unit if available during our spring vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great experience. Stayed for 3 nights. Property on the beach with amazing view. We arrived two hours earlier for check-in. Called the property management office and the let us in by activating the code for the door. The only thing that were not satisfied is paying $40/day to rent two beach chairs and an umbrella. Other condos in the building offer this for free.

The condo was clean, well equipped for beach. The owners of this condo really made sure you had everything you needed.
