Bright, inviting, historic house dating from the 15th century, 3 stories, courtyard, rooftop terrace, 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, built-in kitchen, bathroom with shower, guest restroom. The historic house, with its neoclassical stucco facade, was built in the 15th century, underwent significant structural alterations in 1825 and 1874, and was renovated in 1996 and 2017. Original architectural elements, such as the original ceiling beams and the remaining floorboards on the first and second floors, were sanded down and oiled.
The first floor features a spacious living/dining room with a fireplace and a kitchen in the side wing. The dining room on the first floor leads to a small courtyard with space for bicycles. Behind the kitchen is a small guest restroom equipped with a washer and dryer.
The restored, approximately 200-year-old staircase leads to the living room, which features a couch and a TV. From the living room, you can reach the rooftop terrace with a view of one of Lübeck’s most beautiful courtyards—the so-called Birnbaumhof.
Due to the era in which it was built, the second floor does not meet today’s standards for ceiling heights. With ceiling heights as low as 1.80 m in some areas, taller guests should duck their heads as a precaution.
On the second floor, you’ll find a newly furnished, small shower room.
The price for 2 guests is 130,-€/night; each additional guest (up to 6) is charged 30,-€/night.
