MHV-VILLA MAYA

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WE HAVE USED MY HUATULCO VACATION SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE PAST YEARS. VILLA MAYA IS A PEFERCT 3 BEDROOM PLUS A 4TH DETACHED ROOM NEAR THE VERY SECLUDED POOL, AND HAS ITS OWN BATHROOM. EACH TIME WE HAVE STAYED THE VILLA WAS NICE AND CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED. IT IS LOCATED WITHIN JUST A 2 MINUTE DRIVE TO A VERY LARGE SUPER MARKET AND MANY OPTIONS FOR RESTUARANTS IN DOWNTOWN HUATULCO. YOU CAN WALK DOWN THE HILL AND TAKE A PATH DOWN TO A COVE FOR SWIMMING AND SNORKLING. WHEN THE WATER IS CLEAR THERE ARE ALOT OF FISH AND THINGS TO SEE UNDERWATER.THERE IS A BOAT DOCK NEARBY AND PANGAS FOR RENT FOR SIGHT SEEING, FISHING, SURFING AND PRIVATE BEACHES. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND == FOR CHARTERED TOURS.THE STAFF AT MHV HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY RESPONSIVE AND HELPFUL. WE WILL DEFINATELY BE BACK!

Villa Maya

The property was great. I think it would have helped to identify it as being in the Sueno Real complex. Much easier to advise taxis where it is.

Sueno Real....AMAZING MILLION $ VIEWS

This is a return trip for us to go back to Sueno Real, but we rented a different Villa this time. There were six of us and it was perfect. With the private pool and a communal pool made it just so easy to be together or be apart. Highly recommend the location, their staff, security and cleaning services are perfect. We will be back.

Huatulco Vacation

The location was excellent and the villa was beautiful! We were able to walk to the grocery store and to neighbouring areas very easily. It was wonderful having our own shaded pool to be able to cool down during the extremely warm days. The main pool was beautiful as well. Our pool was cleaned daily. When we arrived, the small pool-side guest house was locked and someone had to go through the window to gain access. Once inside, we discovered that it has not been cleaned. Perhaps no-one had stayed in that room in a while, but we had 7 people booked for the three weeks, so it should have been obvious that we would be using that room. Having said that, the property manager was quick to rectify this problem once it was discovered. The dishwasher did not work. We reported it and after 18 days, they wanted to come and repair it. We were told it would be noisy and we requested that they wait until we checked out to do the repairs since we only had 3 days left. They did agree to this. One member of our party was sick early on during our stay and unfortunately was sick in the bed. We received a bill for the sheets and mattress cover as they said there was a stain that could not be removed. The bill was for $3250 pesos, or $230 CAD. These were not new sheets. That seemed a bit extreme to me. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Maya. It was a beautiful spot, great location and very accommodating staff on sight.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a huge surprise walking through the doors of Villa Maya! This was a return visit for us so we knew the layout...but the villa was totally renovated! It was nice before but now it was perfect. A few things like an outdoor projection screen for movie nights, new in-pool lounge chairs and all new kitchen, appliances, and furniture were over the top. Everything we needed was there including two beach umbrellas for hots days on the beach. The views from the main pool are still beautiful and there are extended new decks to have views to both bays now. This property was perfect.
