Welcome to our “Electric Lighthouse” vacation rental at “Fisherman’s” on Borkum! It offers cozy comfort for a relaxing getaway by the North Sea for up to two people (with a toddler, if applicable). You’ll also enjoy excellent proximity to the town center and the beach: Bismarckstraße invites you to take a leisurely vacation stroll with its small shops, restaurants, and cafés. The promenade and the main beach are just a few minutes’ walk away.

The “Electric Lighthouse Vacation Apartment” features an optimal floor plan with an inviting living area, an open kitchen, a separate bedroom, and a modern bathroom with a shower. Large windows let in plenty of natural light, modern furniture creates a cozy atmosphere, and maritime island paintings add that distinctive North Sea charm.

After a day at the beach or a bike ride, the living room—with its sofa, armchair, and TV—invites you to spend some cozy hours there—perfect for winding down your vacation day in a relaxed way. Free Wi-Fi is available for browsing on your smartphone. A dining table offers space for chatting, enjoying a vacation breakfast, or sharing dinner together.

In the modern open-concept kitchen, you can quickly and easily prepare snacks for an outing or delicious meals. It’s equipped with, among other things, a 2-burner ceramic stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, and various small appliances.

The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed (2 x 90 x 200 cm) and two wardrobes. A coat rack in the hallway provides additional storage for clothes and shoes.

The modern bathroom, featuring a shower, toilet, sink with mirror, and hair dryer, adds to the comfort of your stay.

A crib and high chair are available for our little North Sea vacationers.

A washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes rack, and vacuum cleaner are available for shared use.

As soon as you step outside the front door, you’ll feel the island’s pulse: Cozy cafés, small boutiques, and numerous restaurants are right in the neighborhood, inviting you to take a leisurely vacation stroll. At the same time, the house offers you a cozy retreat where you can unwind.

The sound of the waves is your daily guide. It’s only about a 3- to 5-minute walk to the main beach (Nordstrand) and the famous promenade. With lovely cafés and cocktail bars, the bandstand, and the offshore sandbar, there are plenty of opportunities here for relaxation and activity. During the season, colorful beach tents, areas patrolled by the DLRG, and a wide range of sports activities guarantee the perfect beach experience. During quieter times, enjoy long walks along the beach with fresh sea air and the glistening waves.

Our six vacation apartments in the “Fisherman’s” building offer you a cozy home where you can feel at ease and relax—whether as a couple (Apartments 1–5) or with the whole family (Apartment 6). They’re also perfect for vacations with friends who’d like to stay together in one house while still having their own private space. In total, there is room for up to 15 people.
