Andrea's Nido – Apartment on Monte Amiata with Orcia Valley View

The 31 m² apartment is located in the heart of Monte Amiata, the highest mountain in Tuscany, right in Castel del Piano. It accommodates up to 3 guests and is the perfect base for hiking, skiing in winter, and the famous chestnut festival in autumn. From the apartment, you enjoy beautiful views of Monte Amiata and the picturesque Orcia Valley.



Situated in the center of Castel del Piano, all essential shops, restaurants, and sights are within easy walking distance. Castel del Piano is well connected by bus, so you can explore the whole region easily. The summit of Amiata is just a short drive away, as are the beneficial sulfur baths around the mountain. The sea is about 1 hour away by car. Airports: Florence (140 km), Rome (180 km).



The apartment features 1 bedroom, 1 living room, and 1 bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your meals. Amenities include a wood stove, TV, Wi-Fi, and a dedicated workspace. A baby cot is available.



Wi-Fi is reliable in the living room and kitchen. There is intentionally no Wi-Fi in the bedroom and bathroom, so you can sleep undisturbed and free from electromagnetic frequencies.



In Italy, heating is usually turned off from mid-April. A wood stove is available year-round, allowing you to adjust the temperature as you wish. A portable air conditioner is also provided.



The apartment is on the first floor and accessible via a few stairs. There are no outdoor areas. Free public parking is available nearby. You may bring 1 pet. Please note that events are not allowed on the property.
