Enjoy your first cup of coffee on the balcony in the morning, light the fireplace in the evening and listen to the waves—in this first-floor apartment, you’ll find the rhythm that a vacation on the Baltic Sea should have. Everything’s close by: The beach is less than two minutes away.

The bedroom and living area are separate, so your evening by the fireplace doesn’t have to end just because the kids are already asleep. The sleeper sofa in the living room offers an extra sleeping spot—perfect for families with a child or a short getaway for three.

The fully equipped kitchen, featuring a dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave with baking function, and coffee maker, leaves nothing to be desired. On days when you don’t feel like cooking, simply grab a table at the “La Residenza” restaurant on the first floor—pizza and pasta without even having to leave the house. Or have breakfast at the bakery next door.

Underfloor heating and high-quality designer vinyl flooring make the apartment cozy all year round. The combination of a fireplace and a balcony gives you a choice in every season: sea air on your skin or the warmth of the fireplace on your feet.

The Karlshagen Beach Residence is located right on the beach on the sunny island of Usedom, separated from the white, fine-sand Baltic Sea beach only by the dunes. Right on the beachfront in the quiet northern part of the island, 12 bright, lovingly furnished vacation apartments ranging from 26 to 104 m² await you—all of which were extensively renovated in 2020/21.

Many apartments feature a private balcony with a view of the Baltic Sea and a fireplace—perfect for cozy evenings while the waves crash outside. The apartments feature stylish furnishings, comfortable double beds, a fully equipped kitchenette (dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave, refrigerator), as well as satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

Ideal for families: The flat, child-friendly sandy beach begins right outside the door. On the first floor, our pizzeria La Residenza treats guests to Italian specialties, ice cream, and cocktails. Playgrounds and the bakery with fresh rolls are less than 20 meters away.

Perfect for couples: Enjoy romantic sunsets from the balcony, relax in the evening by the crackling fireplace, and leave the stresses of everyday life behind. In the off-season, Karlshagen offers soothing tranquility with deserted beaches and crisp sea air. The Baltic Sea spas in Ahlbeck and Zinnowitz are easily accessible.

Dogs Welcome: Karlshagen offers two designated dog beaches, both within walking distance of the residence. Behind the dunes, expansive coastal forests invite you to take long walks. Your four-legged friend is warmly welcome in select apartments (8.50 per night). The tiled and vinyl floors are ideal for sandy paws.

The property features a lockable bike storage room with an outlet for charging e-bikes, parking spaces right next to the building, and a wide range of recreational activities in the immediate vicinity: boat and fishing trips, sailing, surfing, tennis, horseback riding, as well as the Peenemünde Historical-Technical Museum and the Trassenheide Butterfly Park.

All apartments are non-smoking. Bed linens and towels can be added to your reservation for 20 per person per stay. Operating costs are included in the final cleaning fee.



Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00, and check-out is from 08:00 to 10:00.
