The chalet is located in a small-scale chalet park, directly by the Afritzer See, surrounded by dense forests, impressive mountains, and shimmering lakes. As soon as you step out the door, you experience the unique magic of each season: from blooming alpine meadows in the warmer months to snow-covered slopes in winter.

For snow and ski enthusiasts, there are fantastic options close to the chalet: discover the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area (15 km from the chalet park), which offers 103 kilometers of varied slopes, modern lift facilities, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family. Less than 13 km from the park is the Gerlitzen Alpe, a sunny ski area with about 50 to 55 kilometers of slopes and breathtaking panoramic views over the Alps.

There's much more to experience in the area than just the mountains; the nearby town of Villach is perfect for an afternoon of shopping, enjoying a café, or ultimate relaxation at the thermal spa. The various other lakes in the region, such as Millstätter See, Faaker See, and Ossiacher See, are known for their well-maintained beaches with sunbathing areas and wooden piers, where you can swim, sunbathe, and relax with views of the surrounding mountain peaks.
