Great location near Fiscalini Reserve to the South. My only quibble is the terrible cell coverage which makes conducting business very difficult, if that's something you need to do. Having said that, it's a problem throughout Cambria and not unique to this attractive property. We will return next year.

This property not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. The house is gorgeous, spacious (with lots of windows and two balconies) and nicely-furnished, with a very well-appointed kitchen. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (just the faint sound of the surf at night), the neighbors are friendly, and the area is beautiful. Lovely hiking trails right down the street, two access points to scenic, rocky coastline a couple of blocks away (good for views and sitting, but not for walking far), and the cute East Village of Cambria is a short drive away (we did mostly our own cooking but loved Robin's for dinner one night). We had a couple of very minor issues (the downstairs heater pilot light blew out on a windy day as the heater is near the front door--yes, we needed a heater in the mornings, while everywhere else in the state was sweltering!--and a couple of appliances stopped working, which turned out to be a somewhat hidden Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter button that needed to be reset), and the management company was very responsive and quick to address the issues. After a number of years meeting from two different places in the US to vacation together, my friend and I have decided that Cambria is our new special place, and we will try to rent this house again if we can. We thought it was a great value and helped to make our trip memorable.

Thank you for alerting us to the issue with the heater pilot light, we take suggestions and feedback very seriously. It was determined by the technician that the problem was caused by an intermittent clog in the gas line, not the wind. The homeowners are in the process of replacing the unit! Very nice house in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to the ocean, you can hear the waves breaking on the beach.Also 2 blocks away from a great hiking path that goes along the ocean bluffs.Stellar communication from Jackie. Very quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental was extremely clean and very cute. In fact it was even cuter in person! The location is ideal, with walking and hiking close by, with a community feel of gathering to watch the sunset each evening. Kitchen was stocked and all items needed were stocked. I thought picking up the key in town would be extra work, but it was very easy and seamless.

Cozy Coastal Gem

We Loved staying at Sea & Sand. Immaculately clean & well appointed. Access to Fiscalini Preserve could not have been better. Easy 7 min drive to town for meals & shopping. Would absolutely stay again!

The property is in excellent condition and conveniently located near the water and Fiscalinni Ranch. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to safely store our bikes in the small garage. We had a wonderful week and we highly recommend Breen if you are considering a stay in Cambria. Renting a home is only a little more then you would pay at one of the area motels, but the advantages of having an actual house as a base of operations cannot be overstated..

Bleach and Sky

Loved it at this clean and well located and well appointed property. Close to the ocean and hiking at a preserve, it was perfect. Also no fragrance which is a must for us. We will be back!

A Heavenly Cambria Experience

This two story house, clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed, with a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean, is a stone's throw to the trails of Fiscalini Preserve. Its the perfect Cambria house.

Cambria & Hearst Castle

Unfortunately major remodeling was in progress on the house next door. Early morning trucks parked around us and loud men with working tools began each morning. Not easy to sit on deck or balcony to enjoy coffee and the view & sounds of the ocean.

Relaxing

Our family really enjoy the stay. As close as you can desire to the ocean with a walking trail right near by. Comfortable furniture although the beds were not exactly my style the kitchen was very accommodating. If you're going to stay here, you need to bring groceries. There is not much in town. One grocery store that closes quite early. One recommendation for those renting the place, please provide coffee and buy a Keurig. They are very affordable nowadays and my first morning was kind of a bummer waiting for the local coffee shop and grocery store to open up.
