Wonderful Get Away!

Very clean and well prepared for us. It was a super cute house with an AMAZING view of the lake! Morning coffee on the patio was our favorite! The owner is just so wonderfully accommodating and attentive with great recommendations. We are looking forward to coming back!!!

Family vacation

Great spot for views of the lake and fishing!

Our family enjoyed the views of the lake, the sizable patio, and the comfy house for a few days at fall break. The kids enjoyed the game room with toys and board games. The very short walk to the shore made it easy to throw a few casts into the lake. For sure would stay again again.

The Perfect Lake Getaway!

This property is in a great water front location with access to nearby marinas. Everything about this rental was accommodating and the neighbors are friendly. The property is owner is easy to communicate with and very helpful!

Great Location and House

Everything was great. We cook all our meals and found the kitchen had everything we needed. Easy access to water and jet ski rental! Lots of space for games and fun.

Family Getaway Post Quarantine

This is a wonderful home. Perfect for 6 adults and we also had one baby. View and location are absolutely perfect. Great sitting areas outside and inside is so cozy and comfortable from the dining room to the large sofa. Would highly recommend. And Kathy is the hostess with the mostest for sure!! Hope to go back again one day!!

Homey, relaxing vacation home

Our family (grandparents, parents, and their kids) celebrated Grandparents’ weeks at this lake house in late July, early August. We had a great time - lots of water activities, board games, local restaurants, hiking, etc. that kept us busy. Kathy and Earl are great - very welcoming and responsive to any question or concern that came up during our 2 week stay. If you are looking for a comfortable, relaxing home on the lake, you’ll be very happy with this choice.

Perfect family getaway!

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home. It is very clean and it has everything you need to make a meal. The layout is perfect for a family gathering. The best part is the location! You have amazing views of the lake and it's just a short walk down to the lake. Kathy is a wonderful host. She made sure we had everything we needed and sent tips on local info. I would highly recommend choosing this waterfront home.

Great girls weekend

Wonderful Weekend

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with a group of friends. The house was clean and roomy. We had enough space to spread out and have a nice dinner in the dining room. We had a fish fry on the patio and enjoyed the easy access to the lake for fishing and floating. Neighbors stopped and chatted; very friendly. Kathy was easy to get a hold of and I couldn't have asked for a kinder host. Looking forward to future trips!

Perfect for family fun!

This property was perfect for our family vacation! We had two teenagers, 3 adults and our 2 month old grandson. The home was very clean, owners were wonderfully attentive and checked to make sure we were all taken care of. The house being so close to the water was awesome! We drug our kayaks and floats right down to the water and spent the afternoons. We rented a pontoon boat just 5 minutes away for one of the days and had a great time! Anyone traveling with family that wants fun at your back door and a beautiful clean spacious home, this is the place for you!!

Perfect lake weekend.

This property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware/flatware/dishes to make meal prep and serving easy. We rented a slip for our boat at the Lighthouse Marina which was convenient and the people there were very kind and accommodating even on a busy holiday weekend. At the lake house we spent our time on the back patio and the view to the lake is beautiful and filled with trees. The neighbors are close but so, so friendly! You will love this property and the owners are available, if you need them! This was our first time on Lake Texoma...we will be back!

Property owner was easy to work with. However the interior of home could use some deep cleaning (spider webs). We had elderly family members could not operate the door (sliding door) and the other door was taped shut. Was no internet as advertised.

Thanks - door was immediately reconditioned to remove sand causing drag, working well now; coincidentally have new source WiFi install set to replace hotspot you had trouble with. Cleaning crew is very good and will extend an eagle eye for cob webs! You communicated you enjoyed the home and water front - way too much we hear from upset family and community. Fortunately we've never had guests be so destructive and disrespectful of property and surroundings including driving your truck and boat across the yard, sprinklers, septic tank, Corp property to illegally launch, with film and detail reported. This house is not for you.

Wonderful Weekend

The house was just perfect for our stay. We were in the area to attend a friend's funeral but took the opportunity to spend the weekend with each other to celebrate her life. Eight ladies stayed comfortably. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and the beds were all comfortable. We sat by the water and talked in the evenings. The only thing I would recommend are extra linens / bigger blankets to cuddle on the couch. While the beds had nice linens, there weren't any extra that we could find. There were a couple of small throw blankets but they weren't quite big enough to get comfortable. The TV was a little hard to figure out even with the instructions but we managed to watch a couple of great DVDs. Overall it was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

So glad you were able to come together and enjoyed your stay. Loved the picture you sent of your group of 6 women - so adorable! We keep 2-3 sofa throws out year round and typically break out the big blankets at the official start of fall regardless of temps. It was still in the 90's when you girls were there, not unusual for Texas September :), but understand how great it is to be 'cozy' while enjoying the movie collection and appreciate the great input! Pretty view

The pictures don't quite give a true representation of the property. Although plenty large, and the kitchen is well equipped, the house is need of a lot of updating. All bathrooms are dated, the floors are a variety of tile, wood, and carpeting and the stairs are plentiful. The kitchen is small, in need of updated oven and microwave and is dark. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, etc, which is nice. The AC works very well and it is nice to have both floors zoned. The house could use a thorough cleaning as does the outside. The landscaping, dead bushes and yard waste was a challenge.The brand new outdoor grill was great. The beach can only be used with water shoes and there is very little sand. The open yard and common area out the sliding doors is nice for kids to run and play. We did appreciate the owners giving us the code for the room with the washer and dryer, we have never stayed at a VRBO that did not include one. All in all the vacation was restful but we will explore other areas, especially for the price.

New appliances are in.:) Thanks - many love the big lake experience - kayaking ladies the following weekend especially enjoyed our easy water access, kids playing in the large open areas, 24/7 view (full moon W/E)! 2023 Record summer/fall drought and temps affected vegetation. The house is two stories, hence stairs as noted and pictured. Pictures are current: all first floor is all wood plank; upstairs BRs carpeted, tiled & updated bath. The cleaning crew is typically lauded as great! The 3 of you may enjoy when your young toddler is older or has playmates in addition to her grandmother. Outdoor loving families enjoy the house, waterfront views, great outdoor fun year round. Always use input to improve - thanks!

If this property is available for your dates, BOOK IT!

We can't say enough positive about our experience at this home. Check in was smooth. We worried only a bit about the air conditioners. However, as advertised, they have 2 units, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. In 107 heat, they were turned on at approx. 3:30pm and by 9pm the upstairs was 78. Everyone slept comfortably on a very hot weekend in August. Beds: comfortable. Large family room: perfect for our larger family. Everyone fit at the dining table. Kitchen: clean and good for preparing and serving food. All the appliances we needed. Didn't check to see if there was a slow cooker. The view of the lake: SPECTACULAR! We left wanting to purchase a piece of property in this beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The beach area can be seen from the house. The beach was a tad rocky in places, but not so much that you could not wade in or pull up a wave runner onto the shore. Lovely back patio to hang out on. But it was so hot, we were either in the house or in the water. Did I mention games? They had a bunch as well as a ton of DVDs if that is your thing. Yes, it was pricey, but we were so happy we splurged on this true lake-front property.

Thank you! Happy your CO family enjoyed! We never tire of the view and water so handy. It gets cold inside and Tx can be very hot out! The water level fluctuates so with this year's major drought, all are fortunate Texoma remained at full for a busy super fun summer!

Thanksgiving

Nice property, great location and view of water front. We cooked a big Thanksgiving dinner, and the kitchen could use some updates with appliances and countertops. Overall great stay. Owner is great!
