Du vil nyde din morgenkaffe eller solnedgang aften glas vin fra den smukke 1000 kvadratfod dæk med udsigt over Lake Pend Oreille. Dette private, fredfyldt oase ligger få minutter fra den pulserende by Sandpoint og City Beach. Kabinen tilbagetog har 2 soveværelser udstyret med dobbelte dronning køjesenge, kommoder og kan sove 8 personer. Høj hastighed Wifi og Netflix er også inkluderet. Der er en propan Bar-BQ og en udendørs overdimensioneret sten terrasse med pejs, fuldt udstyret køkken og vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Bare en 15 minutters kørsel til Schweitzer, en 40 minutters kørsel til Silverwood Amusement Park, en 20 minutters cykeltur til City Beach eller en 5 minutters kørsel til downtown Sandpoint. Tæt på gode vandre-og cykelstier. Nyd alle de store ting denne fantastiske by har at byde på ... store butikker, restauranter, festivaler og bedst af alle fantastiske vejr !! Om vinteren kan du stå på ski fra nærliggende Schweitzer Mountain, snescooter, langrend og snesko. Året rundt aktiviteter på din hoveddør. Tilbagetrækningen er kæledyr velkomne. Vi har en chokolade lab navngivet Murphy og med hjem på Murphy Bay, Murphys tilbagetog kom til livet.

Host was very responsive to any minor issue and this was our second visit in three years. Everything was wonderful and met or exceeded our expectations.

Amazing Get Away

Very comfortable cabin. Beautiful place to relax and catch up with family who lives nearby. Loved the grill, fire pit, deck...everything! Erin and Thomas were very accommodating, and we were able to add an extra day to our stay. It was also wonderful to have our sweet doggo enjoy a vacation with us.

Really beautiful and the owners were amazing.

The cabin was even nicer than the pictures and our hosts responded to us quickly. We are already planning another trip to this beautiful cabin!

Wonderful week with family

This was a perfect location for our family and dogs! Tucked in the woods with a beautiful view of the lake, we enjoyed being there and will go back!

Nice, clean property!

Beautiful setting. Plenty of amenities provide by hosts. Fabulous outside decks and fire pit. Not much of a view of lake but at least a peekaboo. Would definitely stay here again!

WOW what aa deck!

Loved spending the morning and evenings on the multi level deck/patio. The kitchen is beautiful. The location of Murphey's Retreat is convenient to Sandpoint too!

Great getaway but verify lake access

The property itself was just beautiful and very well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The problem was it didn’t have direct access to the lake, which was supposed to be offset by being able to take the kayaks up the road to the public lake access. Maybe the owners didn’t know but that lake access is closed for the entire 2025 season. That was the only downside. It’s a beautiful place and for the place and the surroundings itself. I would absolutely recommend it. We had a great time together!

Cozy, convenient get-away

This was one of the few decently priced rentals I've found that allow dogs, and we were very pleased. We took our pups and our kiddo, and we were able to enjoy a fire on the patio while the dogs played. The only thing we had to watch for was the dogs staying close, as the house is just off of a kind of busy road. 5 minutes from town, 5 minutes from public beach access, and very accommodating place. We wished we could have stayed longer! Oh, and the beds were extremely comfortable. :)

Murphy's Retreat is Amazing

The house and outdoor areas make Murphy's Retreat an ideal vacation or get away spot. The tiered decks, the stone patio, and sunken firepit make the outdoor Living area a Peaceful place to relax, enjoy Nature, and make great memories with family & friends. The house has all the modern amenities but still has the Lake House charm. We rode the Mountain Bikes that are available along the Lake and around town. The water was too chilly to attempt the Kayaks but would be great during the warmer months. I definitely would recommend staying at Murphy's Retreat. Thomas and Erin are wonderful hosts and the entire process was very smooth and easy. Such a wonderful place for a Vacation.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, everything was spotless, the beds were comfy! So nice outside by the fire pit and the decks in the evening. It was very nice. We could have a safe fire to sit by. Excellent stay on your excellent property

Best VRBO we stayed in our entire trip. It was clean, the location was great, our dog felt very relaxed, the beds were really comfortable and the owners were gracious, generous and wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend!!

Smoker and grill were top notch. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were dreamy with the right amount of soft and support. Fire pit was perfect for the fall nights. We will be back!

July 4th getaway

We had a wonderful stay. Murphy’s Retreat was the perfect home base for our holiday weekend adventures. The view from the deck is stunning and the huge fire pit and reclining chairs made for a perfect spot to hang out in the evenings. The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies you could need, the beds were comfortable, and the home was nice and clean. The location was great and close to all sorts of activities including Dover bay, the farmers market, city beach park and more. We loved watching the neighbors fireworks. Best of all, we appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. Will highly recommend this home to friends.

Family visit

Came to meet our new granddaughter who lives in Ponderay. This is a true gem, such a great little cabin with beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed the fire pit and roasting marshmallows with the grandkids. Can't wait to stay again was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for such a wonderful time

Perfectly charming get away

Loved our stay at Murphy’s Retreat. Comfy and quiet evenings on the large deck and fire pit. Everything you could ever need for food prep (although we elected to eat out—many places to choose from). Great place for the pups to hang with us. Lots of recommendations from hosts on places to go and things to do in the area. More amenities than a five star hotel. Place was spotless, obviously well cared for. Would highly recommend, well worth the price.

Beautiful fun property

This cabin is roomy, comfortable and equipped with everything you can imagine for a fun stay. The view of the lake through the trees is awesome. There is plenty of room for a group of eight and the owners are beyond gracious. We had a great time!

Great little property, super location.

We absolutely loved this property, it was very well stocked with everything you need. Great value for all this property offers. You can tell the hosts are welcoming and really care about your stay. Very clean and comfortable - the kitchen and main living space was perfect size for our group of 3. If there was one area for improvement it is that we were not fans of the queen bunk beds - it felt claustrophobic since one side was pushed up against the wall, and very limited head room - but the mattresses were very comfortable. Amazing outdoor spaces - decks and patio. Overall the property was one of the best we've ever stayed at - highly recommend.

Winter Getaway

Great little cabin that met all of our needs. Loved staying here for the week. Having Schweitzer to ski 25 miutes away, the town to hang out in, and being able to drive to Coeur d'Alene for one day.

Erin and Thomas are Canadians that wish they lived in Sandpoint. We have vacationed in Idaho for the last 15 years starting with tents at Sam Owen Campground, a tent trailer at Round Lake campground, a travel trailer at Spring Point Campground and then found this gem of a place off of Lakeshore Drive. Sandpoint is our happy place and if you havent experienced Sandpoint yet, i bet it will become one of yours as well.

Finding Murphy's Retreat was the luckiest day for us. The house had been on the market for 6 months and we ended up purchasing it in February / March. We knew right away what it could offer even though it was the end of winter. Our first goal was to replace the deck and then in 2015 we built a stone patio. These 2 projects have altered the place such that there is a focus on enjoying the outdoors. The location is off of Lakeshore drive which is a beautiful area with many nice homes in the area. It is also very close in proximity to all common amenities.

The unique benefits Murphy's Retreat offers is truly the many places you can sit and enjoy what outdoor Idaho offers. The deck is oversized at ~1000 square feet and the stone patio is even larger.
