Quiet stay

I highly recommend this property if you want to enjoy Venice without staying the the heart of the madness. Easily walkable to all the attractions with great local restaurants.

Lucia was an absolutely wonderful host! She met us outside the flat when we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and took the time to show us around and explain everything we needed to know.The apartment was beautiful and exactly as pictured in the listing. It was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore Venice.One of our favorite features was the lovely private patio garden—it was such a peaceful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also really appreciated that there were no stairs, which made bringing in luggage and getting around so much easier.We had a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book this apartment again. Thank you, Lucia, for helping make our time in Venice so memorable!

The flat was very quiet and comfortable. Perfect location for Carnevale festivities. We would definitely return to this property if available in the future.

Nice place out of busy area.

Nice place, quiet area. 5 minutes from a small place with cafe. 10 minutes from a supermarket and vaporetto station.

Great location

The apartmentvwas clean, tidy and had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was very good, both for vaporetto and walking to destinations. Lucia was informative and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Live Like a Local in Venice

This apartment is perfect for a stay in Venice. We stayed 9 nights and were able to see all of Vencie as well as Murano, Burano, Padua and Verona. Easy access to trains, water bus and of course walking.

Very peaceful and private in a good location.

Spacious, for two, peaceful & private. Owner/manager was very helpful. Two suggestions: newer towels will be required soon and a more modern coffee-maker would be appreciayrd by some.

Beautiful quiet neighborhood

We loved this little apartment. Was a performance fit for us. Close enough to the hustle, bustle but far enough away that you are in with the locals. Spent a lot of our time in the Margarita Square area. Great food, wine and if course gelato. Clean and nice little outdoor area to sit and relax.

Quiet neighborhood but convenient location

Very nice apartment with a private patio. Neighborhood was quiet but close to transportation. Very convenient. The neighborhood restaurant was great and very accommodating. We didn’t have a reservation but they got us in. We went back a second time with a reservation! Grocery was nearby - an easy walk from the apartment.

A wonderful apartment

This is our second time staying at Lucia’s apartment. The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood where you can find good restaurants, supermarkets, and cafes within walking distance. It is close to the vaporetto. The apartment itself is clean, comfortable, and has a well stocked kitchen if you choose to cook. The backyard patio is a lovely We will definitely return. A wonderful spot

My husband and I stayed in Lucia’s apartment this past November. It was a great apartment. It was clean, spacious, with a well appointed kitchen. The location was perfect. It was close to many museum, restaurants, cafes, and shops Lucia was extremely helpful and easy to reach if we needed to contact her The photos are a true representation of the apartment. We will definitely return to this lovely apartment.

Nice apartment in good location away from the fray

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The location was good and the unit was spacious. The photos are generous. I was naive in that I thought I had paid in full(other than the tourist tax) only to find out there was an additional cleaning fee of 80 Euros...probably my mistake. What I have learned is that it far better to stay in a hotel so that the locals can rent apartments like this at a reasonable rate.

Walking into this apartment was like a breath of fresh air. It is not in the busy center of Venice near the train station and crowds, but is a very easy walk to the bus station even with luggage. Porters () and water taxis () are available for the longer distance and the many stairs to the train station. If you want to retreat from the crowds and high tourist energy of Venice and enjoy the quiet of a true neighborhood this is the place. We started and ended our three week trip in Venice, this was the perfect place to stay on the back end. The garden was a true gem. It is further away from the Duoma and St Mark’s Square so if you have only a few short days you may want to be closer to the train station. (Why? Because the short walk is complicated by steps and bridges over canals with luggage). But, with more time and short walks to the train station (easy without luggage) do yourself a favor and stay here.

Lovely apartment convenient to everything.

Lucia is a gracious hostess and easy to work with. The apartment is stocked with everything you could want-comfortable beds, a lovely private garden and great kitchen with a large refrigerator/freezer. Walk over the bridge in front of the apartment and turn left for the supermarket and vaporetto stop S. Basillio. Turn left when you cross the bridge and head to Santa Margarita square. Hang out with the university students and locals and taste some wonderful gelato. We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Italia. Thank you again, Lucia.

I had a great time at this delightful garden apartment. The garden area was a green oasis to relax in after walking the crowded calles of Venice. The apartment was very clean and decorated well, casual but with personality and comfortable. It was quiet at night; the bed was good. The location was excellent. Although near the far side away from the Grand Canal, it was close to everything including the Zattere which I loved. There were very few tourists in the neighborhood and I was able to walk in quiet throughout the area. Although a quiet neighborhood, there was a large grocery store nearby, plus other stores; it was also close to local cafés and restaurants. Note when vacating the apartment I walked with my luggage to the Basilio vaporetto stop with only one set of stairs and went directly to the train station on the No. 2 line.

Apartment was very clean and as described in the pictures. Lucia was most helpful, as she rescued us when we we lost. Bring your best navagaition skills with you, as you will need them. Dorsoduro apartment is comfortable base away from bustle

This spacious apartment is a great alternative to the typical tiny hotel room, especially if you are interested in cooking yourself. Plenty of room to spread out for two people, and a lovely little private patio/garden that would be perfect in the spring or summer for al fresco dining. Dishwasher, moka pot, and washer (no dryer) were all nice extras. Lucia and Stefano are very nice and responsive hosts. Location is close to Zattere and easy access to groceries, Campo Santa Margherita (dining/farmer’s market) and Piazzale Roma (transit hub.). Three excellent pasticcerias within 15min walk. Wish there was a sharp chef’s knife for cooking, but otherwise this was a well equipped apartment to live like a local.

A wonderful slice of Venice

Spouse and I were in Venice for four nights. Chose to stay in a local flat rather than a hotel and it was wonderful. We were out of the hustle and bustle of the busy areas. It is a 15 min walk to the Guggenheim Museum and almost everywhere else. The apartment was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time. The apartment was very well appointed. Kitchen and bathroom have been updated and very nice. Loved the private courtyard. The nearby Campo Santa Margherita was a great place to enjoy coffee, meals and late night drinks among the locals. Lucia was a wonderful hostess and helped with anything we needed prior to and during our arrival. We will be back. Grazie Lucia!

Très joli appartement. Très bien situé. Dans un coin tranquille de Venise. Cour en retrait très appréciée en été. Climatisation, parfaitement fonctionnelle dans la chambre et dans le salon et salle à manger. Tout y est. Nous y avons très bien dormi et relaxé.

Die Fewo war im wesentlichen wie beschrieben, wir haben die Weite und ,so möglich ,die Terrasse sehr genossen.Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wegen der Lage im Erdgeschoss ist die Wohnung etwas dunkel. Die Wohnung ist gut saniert und passend ausgestattet.Man kann zu Fuß von Piazzale Roma in die Fewo gelangen, mit viel Gepäck ist das aber mühsam.Die Anlagestelle San Blasio und die Piazza Santa Margherita sind gut erreichbar.Alles in allem können wir uns vorstellen die Wohnung noch einmal zu mieten.
